Made the colorflow plaque when I took the Wilton CourseII the second time (to work on my flowers). Turned out neary perfect. I was very pleased with the end product.

Don't remember what the cake was. Found the coloring book pic in my daughter's ColorWonder Princess book.

This cake was made for my two nieces "Princess Party". It is a 8" and 12" tier. I looked at several castle cakes on this site and kinda combined several tips and ideas to get the finished product. The best part was letting my nieces help make the cake. They loved it.

First time doing a doll cake. Probably the most fun cake to do! I'm not much of a hair stylist though!

My first doll cake. My fondant was too soft to lay over the whole cake so I layered on a piece at a time. Not exactly what I was going for, but not too bad. Chocolate cake with french vanilla mousse covered in MMF. The mousse began to leach out from under her dress at the party and it looked like she was peeing! How do I keep mousse from leaching? Also, I re-styled Belle's hair because it looked all wrong. I used Pampered Chef batter bowl to bake cake in. Very happy with the shape of the cake!

Just a last minute birthday cake for a young lady named Chris. Cakes are 12 inch and 8 inch. I found the topper at the dollar store and printed the sign and glued it on. Nothing special at all. Just a birthday cake.

I decorated these cupcakes for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She had a Disney Princess-themed party, but she wanted cupcakes with flowers. I used the Disney Princess theme colors for the roses on the cupcakes and they went beautifully with all of the rest of the decorations. All of the kids were thrilled to each have so many of their very own flowers to eat. The cupcakes were decorated with all buttercream.

I made this cake, my first attempt at a doll cake, for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I had some trouble with cake crumbs getting into the yellow icing...just something I have to work on in the future.

This is a simple 8" chocoalte round cake iced with BC. Background is airbrushed with puple. The castle is made of fondant and dried on flower formers to stand up from the cake. Letters are also (purple) fondant. All fondant was coated with Super Pearl (my new best friend), quilted side design with lots of dragees all over the place! This was a fast and fun one to put together last night.

Another castle cake but this time in purple. I also remembered the flags at the top of the turrets before I took the picture this time. I like this cake and it isn't too difficult.

This is mud cake I did a while ago now. Before I didn't have a finished picture of it. I made the stand for the cupcakes out of two pots which I covered in icing to match the theme on the top of the cake. It was a lot of fun to make. The wings are made of rice paper. Thanks for looking!

This half sheet cake was designed by the young lady it was baked for. She is a self proclaimed Basketball Princess. She asked for a vanilla cake with orange and white border, a basketball, a tiara and septor. She also wanted it to be known that she is #1 on the court. I was not to pleased with the cake but she loved it. Well I guess it's anything for the kids.

Each 'princess' who attended DD birthday party was allowed to choose a gown and tiara of her choice to add to the crystal slippers already in their goodie bags. These were fun to make with a 3 year old providing a lot of direction with which colors and icing tips to use! LOL

I've never made a cake before and my sister is having a baby. I wanted to throw her shower and I had a great idea for a cake so I thought I"ll show my design to a woman I know that makes cakes... I'm a very maticulus person so I was hesatent letting somebody else make the cake. So I thought to myself maybe I could try to make it myself. This is what it came out like.

I made this cake for my niece's 3rd birthday. The cake is cherry chip iced with buttercream. (This is the first time that I have used parchment paper to smooth the cake. Awesome!! I will totally use that method again.) The white and pink dots are mints. For the centre 'tower' I used a bamboo skewer to secure it to the cake to prevent it from falling over. My niece absolutely loved her princess cake! Thanks for looking.
