This was for my cousin, I wish I could add the picture with her, since the Princess on the cake looks a lot like her, which was my goal. We wanted a Mary Engelbreit cake, but my cousin is sooo skinny! So, I wasn't sure if this figure really looked "ME"... but I thought it turned-out cute. I loved doing these flowers, which are definitely not the norm & the cherrie clusters were so fun! Thanks for looking!

This is a cake for a one year old. The invitation was pink and white stripes with a crown on top. I made it to match the invitation. The crown and accents are fondant, the cake is frosted in buttercream.

I took a couple ideas from the awesome site and put them together to make my first cake for someone outside of my family. I made this for a little girls 2nd birthday. As you can see i used sugar cones and the towers are made of paper towel rolls cut to all sizes. I covered them with BC...i am sure fondant may have been easier but still too new to adventure there. The bottom tier is 14" and the top tier is 8"....please leave honest comments..i need the advice... happy looking and God Bless!

My first doll cake! I had a hard time cutting the dowels, then after sharpening them I still couldn't get them through the cake circle under doll, then it's a little lopsided. Thanks for looking.

I made this cake for my cousin's 3rd birthday. She is having a princess party. I haven't got the topper yet, so I will take another pic once I get it. The bottom layer is chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling and the top layer is white cake with plain buttercream filling. The towers are ice cream cones. I used light corn syrup as glue for the towers. It seemed to hold well. It was fun to make.

This took forever to make! The castle is white cake with cookie filling covered with buttercream. The turrets are fondant with icecream cones covered in light blue candy melts. I used rolled buttercream for the door, rocks and etc. Transporting this made me a nervous wreck! The turrets kept leaning more and more before we got there....but I was able to fix it. The birthday girl loved it. Thank goodness!

I made this cake for my Daughter's 5th birthday, she absolutely had to have a Cinderella cake. I used buttercream cream for the dress and bodice. I waited for it to harden then I used a paper towel with a design on it and smoothed it over the cake. While the paper towel was still on the cake I ran my finger down the front to make the creases of the dress. My daughter added the finishing touch by sprinkling it with sparkles.

This cake was really easy to make, and was a huge hit at the shower. After having two boys, my cousin FINALLY had a little girl. So, we wanted her shower to be nothing but pink and "girly". We made a 3-D castle out of foam board and poster board, and in the middle we put dry ice so that mist would be faintly surrounding the castle. That was the centerpiece. It was a princess theme, duh.... : )

Princess cake for a Princess' birthday party. The design was shamelessly borrowed from someone on this site--you guys rock. Doctored yellow cake with cookies and cream filling. MMF flowers and banner, but the rest is BC.

I made this for my daughter's third BDay tomorrow. I wanted to use a real doll, so I made a dome cake w/ BC Bake n Fill, then stacked that on an 8 inch layered round. I smoothed the frosting with parchment - the arm puffs were piped and then smoothed using a damp paint brush. I am pretty happy with it!! It is all buttercream - banana strawberry flavor - with banana strawberry cake on top, and vanilla on the bottom.

This is my first titled cake. I wanted to have it more tilted but was afraid to with all the kids running around. I was very pleased with how it came out. It had an 8inch square with a fondant crown. I am also posting that.

This is my first castle cake and it was so much fun! I ran out of room for the little girl's name, so I made a letter "A" monogram out of some beads. My customer was going to add Disney Princesses and Dora on the cake at the party. The cake was white with BC and white choc raspberry mousse. Thanks for looking!
