This is a graduation cake that I made for my cousin's husband. He is a movie fanatic. Everything is edible. The clapboard was supposed to lean against the popcorn bag, but there is way too much humidity here in FL, hence the sagging. The pictures always show all of the flaws! The film wheel is also cake. Thanks for looking.

Lots of inspiration from other cakes on CC. Iced in buttercream with fondant accents. Popcorn is mini marshmallows, cut, and sprayed with a bit of yellow. This is my first cake that turned out almost exactly like I wanted it to! AND it was super yummy!!!

Cake is made with 3 round cakes, 6-8-10 inches. smallest on bottom -frosted wit buttercream. Mashmallows on top sprayed with Wilton spray food coloring. Originally tried to make in terra cotta flower pot but the middle fell and did not cook all the way thru.

I made the cake with rolled fondant. The popcorn is made from marshmellows and I painted on them with coloring and water.

I tried this again doing all the popcorn with buttercream this time, I wanted to see if I could make it look good without doing fondant popcorn. Let me know what you think. TFL

Yellow cake with BC. Thank you helipops for the insiration! Client loved your idea and had to have it! All MMF accents. Except picture is a print out of the HSM sign and laminated. I'm pretty happy with it. Helipops rules!

I borrowed this idea from azterp. I thought they were so cute when I saw them so I made for a small gettogher with my girlfriends. I used yellow and white marshmellows and decided to throw in some pink marshmallows on a couple of cupcakes.

I made this for our MOPS (moms of preschoolers) kickoff meething. The theme this year is adventures in mothering. Buttercream frosting with MMF accents. "Popcorn" bags are buttercream with marshmallows on top.

This was my 1st time making popcorn cupcakes. Cutting each marshmallow took forever, but I think it was worth it! Everyone loved them!

This is the cake I did for the statefair this year. I just finished it and thought I would ask y'all what you think. The main parts are gumpaste and fondant, even the popcorn. The hot dog is fondant. I drop it off tomorrow!

Thank you CC for your inspiration. I just found your site and can"t get enough. This is my first try at this. Since I only make one cake a year for my grand nephew, I know I need all the help I can get, The bottom cake is 10" yellow, then 8" carrot cake and the popcorn box is RCT with marshmallow popcorn painted with food color . All frosted in BC with CRF accents. First time using the choc, fondant. TYFL

Hollywood theme cake for school fund raiser auction. Everything edible. Cake is covered in buttercream with fondant accents. Popcorn bag, movie reels and slate board are rice crispy treats covered in fondant. Popcorn is marshmallow. Slate front picture is done with edible paper and ink. Top layer chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Middle layer white cake with vanilla buttercream.

It was my girlfriend's birthday who loves theatre. She produces, choreographs and directs musicals for a local middle school. And she acts, sings dances with a local theatre company. The only problem as you can clearly see is that her head started to tilt back severely. I should have let the figure sit much longer. Oh well, live and learn.

My gift to the BBboy at a movie birthday. He LOVED it! 8" rounds on top of 6" rounds, carved, modeling chocolate, and chocolate covered popcorn. Now it is the ONLY way to eat popcorn!!!!

Our friend's son loves popcorn and eggnog,so I made him a popcorn tub with eggnog flavored cake. I used 2 layers of 6 inch cake,filled with bettercreme. Decorated with fondant,chocolate lettering and marshmellows for the popcorn. Thanks to those CCer's who inspired me! Enjoy!
