This is my first time using FBCT. It worked out pretty well. I wish the outer edges had blended a little more w/ the cake though.... anyway, also tried upside down icing technique - didn't work. VIVA RULES!

My mother recently gave me the pony pan she had bought for one of my birthday cakes so I had to play. I went overboard on the girly stuff since I never get to with 2 boys.

FBCT of Rainbow Dash. I do not like Wilton Royal Blue color. It doesn't mix well and always leaves blue dots. But, for this cake it had a nice effect. 1/2 sheet cake, all buttercream, half yellow, half chocolate.

This is my attempt at making a MLP from Debbie Brown's Lovable Characters book. It turned out okay - but I wish aine2 had been here before I did the eyes! I think they turned out kinda creepy - need to buy some good paintbrushes!!!

Okay this is my attempt at the MLP cake from Debbie Brown's Lovable Character's book.... let's just say I'm not gonna put her out of business any time soon! I was trying to use rolled buttercream for everything and I'm not quite sure how to work with it yet so I was getting frustrated. The ponies peeking out of the windows are a little creepy looking - I had given up at that point and just tried to make "something" to fit in the windows.... all in all I think it turned out okay.

My daughter loves "my little pony" toys, so we chose a chocolate cake with pink and purple frosting for one of her cakes.

My 3 year old niece insisted on a Rainbow Dash "My Little Pony" birthday cake, so I used the Care Bears cake from the Wilton 2006 Yearbook and adapted it to Ponies! The cake is covered in MMF with a MMF rainbow (rolled into "snakes" and "glued" with royal icing), stars, hearts, and sunshine. The clouds are royal icing to give everything a little more support.
My niece couldn't take her eyes off the cake once she saw it!! And I do have to admit, this is my absolute favorite cake I have done yet!

I made this for my daughter's 4th Birthday. It is a My Little Pony cake I made using the Wilton Precious Pony pan. It is modeled after the pony Fluttershy, since Fluttershy has a pink body and she wanted a pink MLP.

FBCT with buttercream icing. Fondant flower cut outs on the side. This cake was for my niece. I wish I could figure out how to get the icing in the fbct smoother.

I have decided to try and sell my cakes. From what I've learned on CC, the best way to drum up business is to give away free cakes and leave your business cards w/them. This is for the Pediatric unti at my local hospital. CCC w/whipped cream BC. Pony is BCT.

I wasn't pleased w/the little lines in this transfer, so after I posted this pic, I Viva'd it. I'd read this in an old post. Worked perfectly! Will remember this next time and do it before I put the border on!

This was for my DD's 4th birthday. MMF covered with chocolate transfer ponies. This was my first time trying chocolate transfers, I should have attached them with a different color icing, didnt think it would show so badly!

Attempt to combine princesses and horses. No problem right! 10" square with a 6" round. Decorated in buttercream. Towers are papertowel rolls cut to size and then covered in gumpaste. Ice cream cones for the tops. Fondant horse laying down in grass on cake (thanks to imartsy for inspiration). It was a hit!

This little girl wanted a pink pony and a river on her cake. Thought the request was a bit strange at first, but I find the result quite cute. Hope she likes it as well.

This cake is decorated mostly with airbrush, then I went back and piped on the little ponies and drew a few outlines w/MMBC. The rainbow had clear sparkles and the tree had purple glitter, but that never shows up in pics. Thanks for looking!

I have come to realize that when you really focus and take time with FBCTs, they turn out well. I was very pleased with how this turned out. So was the girl it was for.
