Made this for a first birthday. The pony is not in the picture because it would've fallen off in transport. Cake is an 8" and 10" butter cake with buttercream icing and filling, a fondant water fall, fondant flowers and rocks and a gum paste rainbow.

My granddaughter wanted a My Little Pony cake for her birthday. I reseached and found three things about My LIttle Pony. Rainbows, castles and of course ponies. This is the result. I couldn't have done it without help from Michelle here at CC. It took me 5 days to make the cake and it took the kids about 30 seconds to dismantle it. The towers have lights in them...although you can't see it out in the daylight.

OK, I debated on even posting this one. The idea well just ran dry half way through. Also, I was out of town and didn't have any backup supplies. It was for my dd's 4th birthday. It's sprinkle cake covered in chocolate clay (first time--definately need lots more practice!! lol), Rice Krispie towers (was intended to appear like icecream on top of these--don't ask what went wrong!!!!) and the cupcakes are iced in bc with bc polka dots.

This is the first cake that I ever got paid for!!! So exciting! My third try with fondant and my first tiered cake. I had a lot of fun making it.....only I had a bit of a problem with my cake mix, has anyone got a reliable vanilla cake recipe for me? Thanks.

Did this cake for my neighbor girl. All BC, WASC and Devil's Food Chocolate. I was going to put the pony on top, but it would have towered over my chocolate rainbow so I just put it on the bottom. Thanks to the other CC'ers that have done this cake and were my inspiration.

This was for a little girl's birthday party. Her parents told us everyone went crazy over it and the cupcakes we made. It's a white cake with buttercream icing.

This is a cake I made for my daughters 7th birthday. I used the
Wilton Castle Kit. Buttercream and Royal Icing accents. She loved it. I had a little difficulty getting the top left turret to stay straight. It was a fun cake to make.

These were made for a 4 year old's Birthday Party. She loves ponies and Barbie! The rainbow is royal/colorflow. Everything else is buttercream dream. I used a "real" Barbie, rather than a pick, so the little girl could keep it.

This cake was made for my DD's 4th birthday. It is a 12 inch dark chocolate with whipped ganach filling on bottom and a 8 inch strawberry on top. Covered in BC and MMF. All the towers and roofs are molded mmf and I used impression mats for the different textures. My little Ponies were toys. The river is piping gel and the roofs have pearl dust on them. This was a huge cake.

by the way it's yellow cake with strawberry cream cheese filling and strawberry BC and fondant over it.

This cake didn't turn out just like I wanted but my little girl liked it so I'm happy. It is a 10 inch and an 8 inch iced in buttercream with fondant decorations. I made a different number two for the top and it broke so I had to make another in different colors at the last minute and it didn't turn out as nice. I actually wasn't going to put it on but since it was just for family my husband told me to go ahead. Looking at the picture now I think it kind of ruins the cake. Oh well.
