Made for a co-worker's child, this was an easy & fun cake to make. The little boy likes "gators" and I had free reign on creating the cake. BC w/Fondant

A friend's twin girls are having a nature-themed birthday party. This one requested "bugs, lizards and frogs" for her cake. This used vegan chocolate cake/frosting due to her son's allergies, and it worked great!

This is a cake I did for my nephew. He and his wife love and raise turtles so coming up with this cake was so fun. This was my first time making characters using gumpaste/fondant. I have alot to learn but I was pleased with this cake. My nephew loved it.

This cake was a lot of fun in contrasting the two sides. Each element on the left has a contradicting element on the right. Many laughed at the duck feet in the polluted pond.

This was supposed to be a 2 tier topsy turvy cake, but the top tier came crashing down tearing off the side of the bottom tier (after all the stripes were on).I was devastated, I was ready to go buy a cake from HEB. i was in tears! But I stepped away from the kitchen and then my wonderful husband came home and gave me some ideas to redesign the cake. This is what we came up with. My friend was happy and her friends were all impressed! At least it wasn't a complete loss! Thanks for looking!

I've been asked by a lady I work with to make the grooms cake for her wedding. It is a second wedding for both of them and will be very informal. Since I haven't done much decorating I wanted to make sure I could handle doing a cake this size. I think it turned out well and everyone said it tasted wonderful! By the way, that is a fondant doe (female deer). The final cake will have a male and female so it will be easier to tell it is a deer. Most people thought it was a dog. HAHA! TFL!

This is one of my favorite cakes. My daughter wanted a "Penguin in Winter" theme. We created this cake together. I found a photo online (might have been on here!) and used it to create from. The penguins are fondant, the trees are upside down sugar cones w/butter cream frosting piped over them using a larger star tip. The igloo was strawberry cake baked in an oven safe bowl, frosted & covered with fondant "ice". The pond was just tinted piping gel! It was so incredibly cute!
