I did this cake for my nieces kindergarten class. The last day of school, they are having a wedding.....the letter Q is marrying the letter U. The only directions I got were colors: aqua and quince, two tiers, chocolate and vanilla. I made the Q and U toppers in color flow, but did not display in pic as I am having my sis put them on with royal when she gets to school.

This is a 3 tier cake for a graduation. Inspiration from Angie (Gia2088). Cake is white with chocolate mousse filling (thanks to all those that helped me with the "recipe") - frosted with buttercream - accents are all MMF. The middle tier looks deformed in the picture but it's really not, I think it's the angle :). Sorry for posting 3 pictures, but final version has MMF words TAP, DANCE & HIP HOP - but wanted to show cake without it too.

This was a birthday cake for the 18th birthday of my twin sisters. The bottom layer is chocolate with raspberry filling and drizzled with raspberry syrup. The top layer is a white cake with a passion fruit flavored icing filling and drizzled with passion fruit syrup. My second try with fondant. I think I'll take the Wilton fondant course before I try again.

This was the graduation cake I had today. School colors were green and white. Client was shades of green with polka dots and accent of pink. I made the pearl curls with fondant on floral wires. The graduation cap & tassels were made from fondant also. Flavors were all Swedish butter cake; top 2 tiers were chocolate IMBC filling and bottom was strawberry IMBC filling. Served 50.

White Coconut Sour Cream Cake with a pineapple coconut filling and BC with fondant accents. Inspired by another CC member's cake. Originally I was only going to do one cake but then more people RSVPed so I added another tier - I don't like the proportions of the cake but I thought it turned out OK!

This is my first time using fondant. I think it turned out pretty good.
I am practicing for my nephew's wedding in September. Any suggestions on how to keep it together? It fell apart on the backside and I could not get it smooth.

A customer had a very precise vision of the type of cake she wanted. One layer to have black polka dots, the next to have zebra stripes and the top to be red, dusted with gold and have agold bow and accents. I think I got everything she asked for on there. 10", 8" & 6" squares covered in fondant with all fondant accents except for the flowers which were fake. ;-)

This was a birthday cake for a good friend's 12 year old's party. She was so delighted that she almost didn't let anyone eat it! The party was at a skating rink and as we walked through with the cake people just stopped in there tracks and justed gaulked. Once again my mother was surprised.
