These cookies were to match the polka-dotted elephant cake, she didn't want the actual elephant cookies, since they didn't fit in her bag, so I just made rounds, one green polka dotted, and one pink with the birthday girl's initial.

This is a cake I did with MMF and buttercream underneath for my SIL's baby shower. I know black and white seems strange for a baby shower...they are her nursery colors. This was my first try at MMF. I liked it very much, although I was not fast enough and it dried out and cracked a bit while putting on black stripes. Learned my lesson for next time!

For a baby shower, we were asked to do the colors blue and brown and to be elegant. Letter "B": on top and sliver spoon were made of clay and dusted with silver dust.

This is my first attempt at a gift bag cake. I meant to carve out a little area in the top for placing the MMF "tissue paper", but realized that I forgot after I had already iced the whole darn thing! Oh well, I'll get it right next time...hopefully!

Thai was a difficult cake to com up with and I still am not totally satisfied with the colors.
It was for a boy/girl twin and the statues kept sagging.

This cake was for my niece's 13th birthday. The dots are done from gumpaste and brushed with silver luster dust. The top was silver and crystal beads, ribbon, and candy melt 13th. I loved doing this cake.

I got little instructions - just hot pink and lime green, polka dots and a big fondant bow. Not too thrilled with the bow, but it'll suffice!

This was a last minute birthday cake, I used left over fondant and flowers from previous cakes. The bow wasn't cooperating... so the flowers are there to cover up my mistakes:) It's a choc. cake with satin ice fondant.

6, 8, 12 and 16 inch cakes, frosted in Chocolate Ganache buttercream and wrapped with white chocolate fondant. Similar to one that tutugirl did, but not nearly as well done as hers. The brown dots and bow were out of chocolate clay and the mauve dots were out of fondant. Wrapping a 16 inch cake in white chocolate was NOT fun. I don't think I will attempt that again. The bride loved it, so that is what matters.

This was my first attempt at a hat box cake and working with chocolate clay. It was for a friends baby shower. The bear is chocolate clay. It was fun to work with. The tissue paper didn't dry in time, so I had to use real tissue paper. My inspiration was from the gallery, sorry I don't have the name here in front of me. This is my first post. I love this website and have learned a lot from you all. Thanks

The cake matched the polka dot invitation for a 3 yr old little girl. It is a 3 single layer cake. I think it could have turned out better. But the client liked it.

This wedding cake is white cake with buttercream icing and an array of live flowers, from orchids to chocolate roses. Amazingly it was entirely done less than 24 hours before the wedding! I gotta learn to plan my time better and to plan for the unexpected because the 2 helpers I recruited ran into situations that left me doing this cake by myself until late the night before, and then with help from my very own wonderful mother until the wee morning hours. Oh well, everyone loved the look and the taste!
