This was my 1st Fondant cake. I made it for my Daughters 1st Birthday. I had a different color scheme in mind but this was what I ended up with. All is Fondant with the exception of the BC piped stars.

I made this cake for a friend of mine. It was one of two identical cakes. This was my first time covering a cake in fondant. Still have a lot to learn. I downloaded this once but it was only showing up as an X after one day. In case you already seen this.

This is my first attempt at making a topsy turvy cake. A friend wanted one for her daughter's first birthday. It was truly a learning experience. I know that next time things with go together much more smoothly. It was fun trying though.

I made this cake for a second time after a customer saw the first one I made. The first time, it was one of the first cakes I made, so it was really neat to see my improvement this time around.

This cake is the compilation of lots of pics I saw on CC. Not sure where I was going with this one, but just thought I'd try to play around with mmf and see what happens. My daughter's buddy is having a b-day sleepover tomorrow, I guess I'll send it with her. Thanks for looking!

I made this for a 10 yo, who loves polka dots. The invitation to her party is next to the cake for inspiration. I used MMF to cover the cake, then colored it pink, green, lt pink, & used chocolate plastic for the brown. My dh helped roll all the little balls for the borders, as I was running late!

A two-tiered cake for a little girl who loves polka dots. Invitation was simply polka dots and the mom wanted the cake to coordinate. Polka dots of multiple sizes and colors adorn this vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. And a big fondant "2" and thin bow tops it off.

This cake is for my friend's daughter, who is turning 1. I'm not totally happy with the outcome...had a very hard time with the pillow. The corners kept sagging under the weight of the fondant! The pillow cake is MMF with luster dust, the bottom is iced in BC with MMF accents. Thanks for looking!

Just your run-of-the-mill polka dot cake...varying shades of pink (which didn't show up on camera too well) & white fondant polka dots on chocolate frosting. I was happy with how it turned out!

This customer was having a minnie mouse theme bday party for her 2 year old little girl. She wanted it to look like a present. I wanted to do the ears instead of the toy on the bow, but the color wasn't taking... but I am really happy with the way this one turned out, especially the red color.

It is hard to see in the picture but the cake is made to match (sort of) the cake on the plates and napkins. Buttercream with fondant accents. I used a food writer pen for the black dots. Just as I was leaving to deliver the cake, the bow broke in two and fell off. I was able to 'glue' it back on when I got there. Hopefully, it stayed on long enough for the party to get started!

I made this cake for my own baby shower. Since I have never made a cake for myself yet, I requested that I get to make one however I wanted to. I had so much fun with this cake. It is a 9" round cake iced in buttercream. The ladybug was made with half of the sports ball pan and covered in fondant. Our baby's nursery is decorated in red and white ladybugs.
Thanks for looking!

These cookies were to match the polka-dotted elephant cake, she didn't want the actual elephant cookies, since they didn't fit in her bag, so I just made rounds, one green polka dotted, and one pink with the birthday girl's initial.
