My first attempt at "zebra" stripes. This was for my daughters 9th birthday. She had a spa party with manicures, pedicures, facials etc. Her only request was that she wanted bubbles on her cake. The doll on the cake is an actual doll but her towels are fondant and everything else is fondant. Except the water in the foot spa...that is piping gel tinted blue to look like water. Magazine, iPod, rolled towel, toe separator, nail file, nail polish, bubbles...everything a 9 year old needs at a spa!

Tha overal height was 13". The bottlle was two 8"x 3"cakes, stacked. The top was three 4"x 2" cakes stacked. The flavors were dark chocolate and vanilla. Covered in mmf.

I made this for my niece's 21st birthday. I tried to make a jewellery box sitting on a cushion. She loves nail polish so I made those out of toffee and used a liquorice log for the top and she also wears savex all the time (lip balm) so I made that out of fondant. She loved it - was very speechless !! The beads for the pearl necklace and rose also made from fondant. The photo on the top was actually a laminated photo.

I was asked to make a small cake for a little girl turning 12. Her grandmother owns a hair and nail salon. Arizona says she will own her nail salon when she grows up. The nails represent the things she loves.I hope she likes it. TFL

A friend was giving a Bridal Shower at a Spa and wanted 4 dozen cookie favors. I loved these spa cutters and knew they would be perfect. I owe a HUGE thank you to fellow CCer awatterson for all her help. With her suggestion, I used CARMIoo Glaze and it turned out perfectly. TFL

A Day at the Spa Bridal Shower cake. I didn't know where to go with this cake. Even as I was putting the MMF on, I still didn't have a vision. In the end, it was exactly what my friend had asked for. All accents made out of MMF. TFL!

This is the cake that I made for my youngest daughter. It is the first time I have attempted a purse, a shoe, and a shoebox. We had so much fun doing this cake. The shoebox is dark chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, and the purse is Mulberry cake with white chocolate cream cheese and mulberry filling. Everything is covered with MMF. The shoe and all the little stuff around the board are made with gumpaste.

My first purse cake. Everything is edible. It was a quick job, I wasn't sure if I was going to have time for it this week and it was a surprise for my niece's graduation. So it's got a few flaws, but overall I think it turned out ok. I made a mini from the scraps to go with it. The swiggly lines are her initials K L

Coach shopping bag with bebe shoe and shoe box with opened gift of a coach wallet. The polish has an A for her name and the Coach pearl bracelet is made out of fondant and sprinkles. First time doing all of this diva stuff. Note to self when overlapping cakes make sure supports are all the way to the edge of the cake underneath. The shoe box was covered in fondant panels and looked good until the handle of the shopping bag(that I was so smart in putting the box on top of) caused the front panel to start buckeling. I did take it back apart and put more support under the box and the birthday girl loved it. It was a long way from point a to z though!!!!!

Tiny Meg had a "princess tea party" and her grandmother asked me to make a cake for her. The cake was inspired by a cake I found on the web, but I tweaked it a bit, added the fondant crown, make-up, and wand. WASC with alternating layers of whipped madagascar vanilla butter cream and caramel buttercream.
