A woman asked me to make a bunny cake for her family for Easter, and when I asked how she would like it decorated, her 5 year old daughter informed that she wanted it pink. I thought it was cute =)

Client requested 2 cakes for her mom's b-day so I had to tie the two together. One white cake with praline filling and the other chocolate with fudge filling. My 1st MMF covered cakes-the 7&5. It was much easier than I thought it would be!

Original design by sugarshack. Iced in BC lids are fondant over a pattern cut from cardboard cakebox lid(my fondant only panels were not dry enough). Bows, bears, booties are gumpaste.

This is my first paid cake. It's french vanilla with strawberry filling. I think I did a horrible job. I got up early this morning and was going to redo the whole thing but my DD said it was fine. I'm just very disappointed in it.

This was of the palest pink and champagne white. My friend didn't want much green for leaves so I used the white for the leaves. It's white cake with buttercream icing. I used my new Americolors and you really do only have to use a smidgen at a time. I think I'm going to like these colors!

I made this for my daughter's Christening. The cake is white almond with a fresh strawberry filling. The roses are royal icing; everything else is buttercream.

This is a first ever kinda cake. First time ever making & using MMF. First ever making and using gumpaste, & first ever doing stringwork. I need lots of practice yet on the stringwork, but I think I have the hang of it. I also need lot's of practice on making gumpaste roses, again, I THINK I have the hang of it. I just really need practice - practice - practice. Not to shabby for self-taught is it? Be honest now, I can handle it. I'll never know if you don't tell the truth. Truth is what I NEED.

This is a repeat of a past cake. Birthday girl was at that party a few months ago and wanted the same cake. Added the sash for birthday greeting.

Made for my daughter's 9th birthday. Glad it's finally finished! I don't think I'm going to do this design again... way too much work. But she sure loved it. Bottom layer is neopolitan cake and top is dairy free chocolate cake. Iced in ganache and covered with fondant.

These are the very first cupcakes I have ever made. They are a white cake with Swiss Meringue BC icing. Didn't make them for any occasion but I think I would like to give them to my MIL to take to Children's Church.

This is the cake (as you can tell) that I did the fondant figures for. This is for a couple in our church. They left the design up to me and they just wanted it to be a "girly gir" cake. You can't really tell from this picture but there is a princess crown in the middle of the cake. The cake itself is White Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Filling and Buttercream Icing.

I created this cake from a photo of only had the top half of her & the wings were barely visible. So, I really liked how this one turned-out, I tried to make the wings 'transparent' by swirling-in some of the frosting from behind/under the wings. I actually got the wing shape from a butterfly on this site, & I used silver luster dust combined with "edible laquer" for the silver sparkles. It was the 1st time I'd used it & it was GREAT! & fun!! =)

I was playing around one night and wanted to make something with pink flowers and test out the parchment triangle theory. I just kept adding and playing around with all of the colors- as you can tell from the randomness. I found that the parchment triangles were great to kept ahold of since they were little and I could have so many different colors. The only thing I hated was having to refill or make more.

Not as smooth as I wanted to, but they were good! Next time I'll try to cover the cake with apricot glaze. In the Wilton Yearbook it says it will make them smooth.

My granddaughter, who was turning 3, wanted "flowers, LOTS of flowers all over the top--PINK Grandma". I made a white cake with bright pink marble throughout with fresh strawberry filling and fudge icing. She loved all the flowers.

Mini, 3.75" X 3.75". All buttercream. Similar to a purple mini I posted earlier this week. Unfortunately, chocolate crumbs came through to the frosting and the swiss dots (first time doing them) didn't work out. What did I do wrong? Hopefully, the 5 year old I'm giving it to will appreciate it :)
