16" 2 layer yellow w/ BC icing and RI roses. Pink ribbon around the base. Trying to decide if it needs something more or not. Suppose to only be a backup cake...the real birthday cake will be 3 tier--I'm not making it, someone else is. No clue what it will look like.

This is a practice cake for a bridal shower cake I will be doing in May. Trying to get the reverse shell border down . . . I am getting much better! The cake was a lemon cake with rasberry filling and my new favorite icing - bc and crusting cream cheese mixed together - YUM!

Thanks to those of you who helped me out with my fondant problems. This was a carrot cake with cream cheese icing covered in Satin Ice fondant. It is a practice for the "real" wedding cake which will look similar...hopefully!!

I made this for a friends birthday. The only request was a chocolate on chocolate like I made for an anniversay. So it is a devils food double layer chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing.

My first wedding cake! I worked off a picture the bride gave me.
Alternating white and chocolate cake. BC frosting. Ribbon and roses are real. I got rave reviews on the look and especially the taste of this cake! Thanks to everyone at CC for all the help on getting me through this!

I also made another cake for kicks and giggles. The icing was too soft but for the most part I think it turned out okay. It was auctioned off also at Youth Bake Auction at my church for their mission trip and took a whopping $125.00. Not to bad, considering it was finished with 45 minutes to spare before the service. :)

I made this for my sister's wedding. First cake ever made that wasn't for me and my family to eat!!! White cake with strawberry filling covered in MMF. Ribbon done in MMF colored with "rose" coloring. Artificial roses. The front turned out great!

This was a white cake with lemon curd filling for a Bat Mitzvah. It was to look like a scroll similar to the one that she would be reading out of. Thanks for looking!
