I MADE THIS CAKE FOR A CUSTOMER WHO WANTED HER DAUGHTER TO HAVE A CAKE THAT LOOKED LIKE BOXES WRAPPED AND A BOW ON TOP....DID MY BEST...THINK IT TURNED OUT PRETTY WELL!! STRAWBERRY CAKE AND FROSTING, COVERED IN FONDANT W/ FONDANT BOW!

Customer requested a cake with different shades of pink, ribbon roses, stripes, polka dots & the word "BRIDE" on the front. This is what I came up with. I really like the turn out so I hope she does too! TFL!

A cake for a girlfriend's DD. Iced in BC and chocolate dots and makeup. The handle is royal icing and luckily leftover from Easter basket cake. I had made a bunch of handles 'cause they are so fragile!

Made another version of the pink polka dots cake. 2-9" rounds with 2-6" rounds covered in bc and fondant. Letters and number fondant with colored sugar crystals.

Made this cake for my niece's first birthday. My sister loved it (I suspect it was more for her than my niece, as she's loved Minnie Mouse since we were kids.) It was the first time I've made a cake like this, with laying down pieces of fondant individually, I struggled a bit at first (thus the screw up on the bottom of the face). But I started to get the hang of it towards the end. Hopefully next time I do a cake like this it can turn out much better. Thanks for looking! Comments very welcome.

I love how this turned out, but had loads of challenges. Kansas humidity has made my cake making this week very challenging. Fondant is always "wet" and sticky.

Wow! This is the biggest cake I've ever been asked to make. 12, 11, 10 & 9 inch double layer tiers in vanilla & chocolate. This was a 1st birthday celebration for a special little girl who was born at 23 weeks. The mom made the pot.

I made this cake for my neighbors 29th birthday party. The theme for the party was "29 Forever". Bottom layer is Vanilla Cake and top layer is Chocolate Cake. Both layers are covered with Buttercream Icing. My neighbor loved her "girly" cake and we can't wait for her next birthday - "29 Again!"... : )

9"-3 layer white cake-layer 1 & 3 are white with layer 2 colored pink. Minnie "hat" is half sports ball pan-strawberry cake. Fondant/gumpaste accents.

The ladybug is a white cake, the middle tier is a white cake with chocolate chips, and the bottom tier is chocolate. All the brown is chocolate marshmallow fondant, and the rest is marshmallow fondant.

Baby girl shower cake. Thanks for inspiration on baby and design cathy24. Buttercream with fondant accents, royal icing letters dusted with pearl dust. Buttercream was beastly last night- got to love humid summer nights! Overall happy though- don't love how border on top tier turned out, but no big deal! TFL!

Top tier is chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Bottom tier is WASC with strawberry filling. All covered with MMF. I made it to match the theme of my friends baby shower.

Our next door neightbor who is turning 8, designed her very own cake. This is what she wanted down to the very last detail. The shoe and the bow are gumpaste, everything else is fondant. Thanks for looking!

8,6,4 inch cakes. 4 inch is chocolate, others are vanilla. buttercream icing. fondant decorations dusted w/ luster dusts. chocolate can frosting used for carriage handles and to put freckles on baby( mom to be has freckles). thanks for looking!!! ;o)
