this is my very first stacked cake. thanks to all who helped answer my last minute calls for help. my friends were having a pink and blue party and requested the colors. mmf covered with mmf accents and bc borders.

This was a fun little cake. I had a bunch of help from the birthday girl. She was turning 11. She and her mom had a lot of fun helping decorate the cake! I wished the icing would've been smooth like TamiAZ. :) But...I guess the birthday girl was happy...so I am happy too. :) I'm uploading pics of my monkeys too.

My first attempt at this, I think the folds of the dress could be better. Fondant on a real barbie with gumpaste banner (got the idea here - thanks!) and royal icing on the bottom tier.

I made this cake for my husband's grandparents. It was their 35th anniversary. His favorite color is blue and hers is pink. The top cake is the smallest hexagon cake the middle is a round cake and the bottom is a petal cake. All of the cake is red velvet.

I made this cake from the left over stuff of an anniversary cake. The cake is red velvet. It is a tiny little 4" round cake. It is smoothed in pink and trimmed out in blue.

These cupcakes are left over batter from another cake that I made. I baked these in my heartshaped cupcake pan. I decorated them with the left over icing also.

this is the last of the three cakes. this was for another of my nieces. my sister added the toys before i could snap a pic. i dont like them on it but what can you do. i didnt want to hurt her feelings. but it did look alot better without them. white cake with bc frosting and fondant balls.

This is my first attempt at a topsy turvy and it looked much better in my imagination. Fortunately, my 10 year old loved it! It was made with the WASC recipe and is filled with BC.

I made this cake for a friends baby shower. Large cake is chocolate, with chocolate filling, top let cake is strawberry with strawberry preserves filling, bottom left is vanilla cake with lemon filling. All cakes are covered in fondant. Large bow is premade Wilton. Thank you to everyone on this site (esp. Kitagrl) for all of the ideas for this cake!

princess' and tea party was purchased by the mother she wanted to put these on the cake. she was making it easy for me since i was 9 months pregnant. i also did her sisters cake for the same day.

This was my second attempt at fondant swags and I was a little anxious. I was happy how they turned out. I put them on the tiers before leaving the kitchen and then stacked the cakes on site and added the fibbon roses. I was a big fan of the color choices of the bride, it felt a little baby shower, but it worked with her reception site.

Chocolate Layer Cake with Bittersweet Chocolate Frosting. Baby Shower Cake for a co-worker. She didn't mention if the baby was a boy or a girl so I tried to make it not too blue and not too pink. I hope I found the happy medium. The little baby on top and all the decorations are made of fondant. Thanks for looking!

6" 8" 10" carrot, strawberry, and lemon cakes covered in fondant with fondant decorations. Ribbons read "It only takes on great person to hold together a great family". The fondant hearts all have a name of a family member written on them .
