I made this for my dad. Coconut cake is his favorite. This one is a modified version of WASC with pineapple filling, coconut buttercream and toasted coconut on the sides.

Just for fun on a friday afternoon, I made a three layer pineapple cake with pineapple-orange filling (from the cake doctor book) with buttercream. Then my two year old said I shoule put his name on it, so I ended up putting everyone in the family on it and it became a family cake! Top is 2C drop flowers with #12 dots in center of flowers and on border. I wish I had done a shell bprder, this cake was too tall for the dot border. Oh well!

This cake came out so cute and I think it was the simplest cake Ive ever done. I used a real pineapple, I cute a hole in the bottom and gutted the pinapple and I stuffed paper towels inside to prevent the leftover juices from coming onto the cake. I sed brown sugar to give it the sand effect and I bought plants like you would put in a fish tank and cut them a lil bit and stuck them in the cake! It was a hit!

I made this cake for a friend having a Luau. It's got fresh home made pineapple filling. The sand is graham cracker crumbs. I had a blast designing this. The hardest part was having to make SOOOO many colors!

Here is a two tiered Spongebob Squarepants cake I made for a good friend's 3 year old son. I got the design from lynsey. It's certainly not perfect but I think it's really cute. It's my very first tiered cake. I hope it makes it to the party intacted lol.

This was for my mother-in-laws birthday. We couldn't be with her for it, so my husband took the 2 hour drive to give her her own personal mini purse and take her to lunch. It is a Pina Colada cake with pineapple filling.

Iced in buttercream.Flowers and seaweed are done in royal icing and leaves for pineapple are made with constuction paper.Thanks for looking!!!!

2 layer 10" round base. The wondermold doll pan carved into a pinapple shape. Gum paste Calla Lilys and leaves. I really liked the way this one turned out.

White cake made with rum and pina colada mix. Pineapple coconut filling and icing made with coolwhip, pineapple, rum, pina colada mix and vanilla pudding......top it all off with a pineapple slice and a cherry. It's heaven in a glass!!

Fondant covered petal pans and pineapple. I used the doll pan and did a lot of carving. Gumpaste accents and the figures are toys.

My aunt loves pineapples. I made her this cake for her birthday. It's WASC frosted with buttercream and topped with gumpaste leaves. It was fun to make and she loved it!

4, 6, 8 rounds of hummingbird cake with cream cheese icing. Tried my new Wilton decorating triangle... wouldn't do it again with a cream cheese icing or without a turn table! Also tried Martha Stewart’s dried pineapple flowers – a little too brown but very delicious, thanks ButterBea for the info.

I made this cake for my nephew's 10th birthday. I spent 2 hrs trying to make the pineapple in buttercream with the lines when I finally gave up & covered it with fondant. Getting those lines was impossible for me!! Buttercream is impossible for me!! I used a dot impression mat & left it at that. The birthday boy was thrilled and that's all that matters. The pineapple was pineapple cake with lemon buttercream, of course and bottom was vanilla with chocolate. The figurine was a dollar store find

I made this cake for the ladies at work to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day :D The cake is Pineapple Coconut. I know it is so "amateurish" to not put foil on the cake board (it was the 1st time I put a cake on a non-wrapped cake board) I think I was jut so excited to start decorating that I didn't even stop to think about it ... ugh! But oh well, they ladies appreciated it anyway and loved the taste of it! :D I guess that is all that counts. TFL

This is another picture of the pirate pineapple cake made for my son. Has pineapple chunks and whipcream between layers of pineapple cake and mickey mouse pirate figures as toppers that came from disney world. The icing was turned into water with darks and lights and waves. It turned out soo yummy!!

This is an old fashioned pineapple & coconut cake yellow cake 3 layers with cooked pineapple, coconut and etc. between each layer then frosted with whipped icing and topped with coconut and cherries... Old Recipe of my Southern Grandmothers!
