This was my first food cake! lol...It was actually for my son's 14th birthday, he loved it! The bun was strawberry cake, for the bottom I used a 9" round and the top was a pie pan to give it the curve! The "patty" was brownie. Sesame seeds were sunflower seeds.

This is three 9x13 white cakes stacked and slight shaped on the ends. The customer requested a crafty/amish themed cake. I came up with the basket for the crafty part and the cookies ( baked goods) for the amish half. The basket handle was quite a headache! I broke the first one in two places! I made this one at the last minute, it doesn't match the color as well as the first but it served the purpose!

done for the Memphis Area Master Gardener's intern graduation ceremony. Picnic basket and Master Gardeners book are hummingbird and chocolate cakes, picnic plate and the sandwich etc, orange, and butterflies are done in gumpaste. Clay pot is fondant covered RKT with wired gumpaste daisies and leaves. Board is fondant painted in navy and white gingham.

This is a Winnie the Pooh first birthday cake I did for my nephew's son. They wanted Winnie the Pooh. I decided to do a birthday picnic cake. I like the way it turned out. They loved it and so did everybody else. I had so much fun making all the pieces for it. I also made him a honey pot smash cake too. I love the little honey pot flowing into the honey falls with Pooh rafting down the falls. I love the picnic too. I thought it was a cute cake. Thanks for looking!

This is the honey pot smash cake I made for my nephew's son for his first birthday to go with the Winnie the Pooh birthday picnic cake I did. Please look at that one too! I love how it all turned out. Thanks!

My first major foray into self-teaching myself to use fondant and make gumpaste objects. I'm fairly proud of my gumpaste work, just ignore the bad paint job on the table cloth :P

White 2 layer cake covered with white buttercream frosting. The tablecloth is made of Marshmallow Fondant. The hamburgers, platter of hot dogs, watermelon, pie, glasses, pitcher, ketchup container, mustard container and plates are all made of marshmallow fondant. I got the idea for this cake from the Wilton website.

Hamburger "meat" and fries are sugar cookies. Ketchup is piping gel w/ red color added (in a small white dip cup). The condiments and veggies on the burger are icing or gum paste. The bun was made with the round ball pan using white cake and no icing on the outside (it's iced of the bun for decoration - mayo - and flavor). Buttercream icing on the rest.

This cake has 3 white cake teddy bears covered in buttercream icing. The picnic blanket is made of marshmallow fondant. The pink squares were painted on with diluted pink gel food coloring. The cups, plates, cookies and teapot were made of marshmallow fondant.

3 tier (10, 8, 6) for a 1st birthday party. The theme was ladybug picnic. Cakes are covered in fondant with fondant grass, ladybugs and bumble bees. Gumpaste daisies. The basket was fondant covered with piped royal icing.
