those 2 where close to captain hook on a pirate ship. I also made them with sugarpaste with CMC to harden it. Tinky's faithers are made from gelatine. They need to days to dry completely.

My son loves Peter Pan, so this is the cake I made for his third birthday. He loved it! Wish though that I'd had a bit more time with it before serving.

I made this cake for a birthday party where the theme was Queen for the night. I merged some ideas from cakes that I saw in Colette Peters book "Cakes to Dream on" and Margaret Braun's book "Cakewalk."

This was made for a Peter Pan Theme Baby Shower. It's carrot cake, with cream cheese filling and BC frosting, It was VERY heavy when finished. Shel really like it. Carving Carrot cake into a ship, not my favorite task! :)

This was a cake my husband designed for a Peter Pan themed party. It is his baby....all I did was bake and make fondant. Both of the figurines are out of MMF, and the ship is fondant, airbrushed with royal icing and gumpaste details. Thanks!

I made this for a friend's little girl. Chocolate cake, buttercream icing. She requested a Tinkerbell cake with Tinkerbell flying, Tink's name underneath, and pixie dust. Instead of a FBCT I placed wax paper over an image of Tink , placed on towel and punched dots with a pin as if I were tracing with dots. I then took the wax paper with the impression and laid it on the cake rubbing it in. When removed it leaves a perfect impression of Tink and her name. Icing outlined and sugar crystals fill her in.

6in, 9in & 12in round covered with fondant, embossed with small cutting wheel and painted with lustre dust (took HOURS!). Ribbon roses, gumpaste teardrop pearls on wires and royal detail on middle tier. Inspired by Collette Peters' Caprice de Jacques design, but with bolder colours and a lot less froo-froo details (I love the original, but the request was for something much less girly than that :-().

This was for a girl who was turning 30 and was having a Neverland birthday party because she never wants to grow up. Covered in BC, mostly bc accents with a few fondant rocks and mountains. And of course, the plastic disney characters!

This was for a cake walk at my kids' school, medieval theme, inspired by a design in Colette's Cakes to Dream on. I used 12 different luster dusts and it was my first time really painting (and using lemon extract, which ROCKS), and I had a ball doing it! Thanks for looking!

Here's my Collette Cake for my MIL birthday, special thanks to NashvilleCakes for the inspiration on the colors and directions. They are two WAS, 8" & 6" torted with raspberry BC filling, carved to be rounded and covered in Satin Ice fondant. (Though I had a lot of trouble with it being dry.) I actually added the purple and teal in colored fondant and trimmed with a snail trail of RI. The color panels are a mix of pearl and gold luster dust. The ribbon roses have all been pearl dusted too. Enjoy!!

Chocolate cake with buttercream icing. I tried to do a transfer but the icing was too soft, so I took a chance at drawing the picture and surprised myself by not messing it up too bad.

6 inch round "mini" cake for 5 year old's bday. This was a small cake that accompanied cupcakes for an "on location" bday party. She wanted to have her name on a cake, and a large candle to blowout at the party.
Covered in buttercream, with fondant flowers and small silver dragees in buttercream decorations (to tie in with silver color of cupcake papers).

I finally did it. I made my first pillow cake. This was sort of a practice run for what I plan to do for my little girl's birhday cake. This was based on a Colette Peters cake. I did attempt a gumpaste tiara to put on top, but it fell apart. How does everyone get those things to stay together? I must not have let it dry long enough maybe. Oh, this cake is WASC covered in fondant....then painted with luster paint.
