14/10/6" stacked. Small white pearls and large pink pearls made by hand and dusted with pearl dust. White fondant roses stiffened with tylose and made by hand, pink highlights and painted with pearl dust, along with the rest of the cake! Rings on top of cake made with fondant, but not stiff enough so they're drooping! Made a lot of rose petals to scatter all over the cake too, and attached pearls to some of them like they are spilling out

First, thank you to everyone that helped me with my questions about this cake. Bottom is 12x18 yellow cake, cross is chocolate with buttercream all over. Fondant pearls and sign with name. Buttercream roses with luster dust. I had a hard time getting the frosting smooth on the cross, so it took me alittle more time than expected. Next time I will definitely practice new pans when I get them. Thanks for looking!!

This cake was actually a joke for my husband's boss, who is a complete sports fanatic and somewhat of a jock. All the guys in the office thought it would be funny to give him this floral cake. It was short notice, so I didn't even take it out of the pan to ice it. They still thought it was great. Fondant roses, pearl border and BC icing on a white cake.

I made this cake for my best friend's bridal shower. The cake is chocolate with oreos and cream filling and the lid is white cake. The pearls, roses and tissue paper are gumpaste. This was my first attempt at an open box cake with a lid.

First, thanks for inspiration from cc'er "Arty" and others! Psalm 139 is my favorite chapter in the Bible so when I saw "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" for a shower cake verse, I had to do it! This cake was for my sister's first baby shower. She loved it and I was really pleased with how it turned out. I used "cake ball" mixture to make the boobs and baby bump, then covered them with the fondant dress. Strawberry cake too...gotta have pink! Thanks for looking.

This was one of several I've been working on using MMF and new luster dusts from CC. I absolutely LOVE the new antique bronze. The picture does NOT do it justice-it is a gorgeous color! Bow and pearls all MMF with a little gumtex.

Four square stacked cakes. 14, 12 and 8, 6 inches. This was my first time using my 2 inch pans...and I LOVE THEM!!! My cakes were almost 5 inches high!!!
The cake was elevated and artificial flowers were arranged on the top and bottom. Pink ribbon and pearls edged the cake . This cake was a monster and took me a long time to try and create the sharp corners! Round cakes are so much quicker to frost.

This is one of my favorite cakes. This one I made for the Oklahoma Sugar Arts Show in Tulsa in Oct 2006. I won 1st place in the professional division and I also took it to the Kansas State fair and won 1st place on it there. All of the flowers are made out of gumpaste and the cameo was made from a mold I made myself. Hope you enjoy!

Here is a wedding cake that I did for today. The bride just said do something pretty and gave me a picture of something she kind of liked but didn't want it exactly like it. I was also told that the florist would be there to place fresh flowers on the cake. Particularly green hydrangeas. When I asked where she was I was shown a bucket of flowers and told they were left for the cake? Needless to say I had no design in mind for the flowers since the Bride said she would have bunches of hydrangeas!

I made this just for fun. As soon as I saw this picture online I had to make it into a cookie. It is just a regular sugar cookie with royal icing. I used a template to cut it out. I just love it.

Each layer of this wedding cake was decorated with a different design,
with the fondant pearls being the theme throughout the design. Ivory buttercream icing, fondant pearls, black ribbon, gumpaste bow, and initials of wedding couple on gumpaste plaque.

I delivered this cake Saturday. It is BC w/fondant pearls colored to match the ribbon and brushed with Super pearl dist. There were also 29 8" centerpiece cakes, 1 for each guest table at the reception. Luckily they were a pretty simple design, but they took FOREVER!
