A friend's daughter had a birthday slumber party and here it is. Included details of the birthday girl and her guests and added favourite cuddly toys, cd's books etc. I always make sure the newspapers and magazines contain relevant and amusing captions. In this case local newspaper with birthday headline!
Bedhead is white chocolate candy bars. Bedposts those marshmallow things called Flumps here in the UK, topped with white malteasers. Apologies for UK candy names :-)

Here is a close-up of the topper. Again, major thanks to missyek for inspiring this design. I think there might be at least one idea of my own on this cake? LOL.

Made for a good friend's baby shower which was being held in a tea house. I saw missyek's delightful cake and it fit the shower theme so perfectly, I had to give it a try. Fudge brownie cake w/raspberry filling, covered in IMBC. All decorations are fondant, although I mixed gumtex into a lot of them so they'd dry better. The blanket is supposed to be saving a space for the baby. The plaque is fondant and was hand-lettered with a food coloring pen, using a font printout as a guide.

We had a deck christening party and my mom who just has to "cake everything", did it again! This cake looks exactly like our deck!!! The herringbone design, the railing, even the placement of the willow tree. It's quite creepy. She looked out the back window, cocked her head a couple of times, and started to pipe. She amazes me!!!

My mom was at a Pampered Chef party putting this cake together. She actually dipped the utensils in chocolate. As the hostess was demonstrating her products, the apple peeler, my mother would go over and snatch the "discards" off her table. The people at the party ended up paying more attention to her than the cooking demo. At first she was a little ticked but they ended up working together. She has already ordered another cake from her. Next time she will use wood utensils.

An early attempt. This was a birthday cake based on a 7 Dwarves cake I had made for a 7th birthday. It had my daughter and her friends all tucked up in one big bed!

We are invited to our first Crab Boil at a neighbors this Saturday and I just had to make these cookies. I was inspired by colls and cakemommy who made and displayed their cookies very similar in the bushel. :) Thanks! I got the basket and netting at Michaels Craft Store. I had fun and cake wait for everyone to see it.

Inspired by Jmosquera's cake and thank you Jmosquera for your help. Thank you also to the members who were gracious and answered all my questions (Twinsline7 and Pinkbunny). Most of all, thank you Gingerela for all your help with this and for being so generous and sharing your knowledge.

I made this using a 7 in round, the large batter bowl and the small batter bowl stacked on top of each other then carved. I then used cake crumbs and icing to form the top point. It's covered in MMF and a non-edible feather boa.

This is a full sheet I donated for the Cincoteague Volunteer Fire Company's 82nd Annual Carnival & Pony Swim After Party. The Fire Company patch was done using a frozen buttercream transfer. Each corner represents an aspect of the Fire Company and over 200 people saw this cake. I was able to take 15 orders for cakes from this. I have over 12 hours of work in this cake.
