Horse head , Used fondant to cover and decorate horse. Needed more cake for the party, so I added a paisley print bandana. First time doing a horse, thought it came out prettty good. My family thinks that before the ears were on, it looked like a dinosaur. Might use that for next time :)

This is what happens when you ask your DH to let you make your own cake! It took me soooo long to narrow down my "cakes I have been wanting to try making" list. Then I had it stacked and frozen, and went to a home show. We were gone about 3hours longer then I thought! Oops! Decorated a frozen block of cake in no more then and hour and a half! LOL Never Again! Chocolate clay & Toba's fondant in vanilla. Triple Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Dream Buttercream.

I did this for my friend's fiance. She found a cake on the internet somewhere (sorry I don't know who made it) with a round cake and the paisley design. She wanted the same design on a square cake. I came up with adding the cactus and cowboy hat.

This is for my own birthday, which is on Valentine's Day. I just wanted to finally use my paisley pans. Covering them with fondant wasn't as hard as I feared, but it's still not as perfect as I'd like. These are airbrushed with Americolor's electric purple and electric pink. (The purple was a bit darker than I expected.) The ropes and hearts were then painted with the airbrush color to make them match the color of the tiers. Then the whole thing got a spritzing of pearl dust.

This was my daughters birthday cake using my new Paisley pans! It's covered in fondant the picture isn't very good because my digital died before I could take the picture so this is with a disposable. The top is a teal color and the bottom is white with black designs. The flowers are actually silk that my daughter picked out - They were a last second addition or I would have made them too.

I did this cake for a baby shower. The design was taken from one of the napkins. Both tiers are done in buttercream. The paisley pattern is piped in buttercream and the polka dots are fondant. The bow is done in gumpaste.

My first cake with my new paisley pan. I had a whole other idea for
this birthday cake, but it didn't turn out right so I had to improvise.
Bottom is WASC and top is red velvet. Cream cheese frosting that was supposed to crust but didn't! The birthday girl liked it though.

My version of a cake in Wilton's. For my sister's bridal shower. The theme and decor was pink and brown paisley. Instead of using the paisley pans, I made 12" rounds and carved them. Covered in MMF w/ RI piping.
Thanks for looking.

Satin Ice fondant and decorations. A few mistakes, but the little girl loved it and was soooo excited! That's what makes it fun! Also, this is the first time I covered a board with fondant. I'll do it a little differently next time.

All MMF. except the plane and cloud. Did this cake last minute and didn't have time to do everything in sugar. Chocolate with Chocolate Orange Buttercream. Very fun to do my first Topsy Turvy cake with a challenging time limit.

10" square, 8" round RV with decorator's cream cheese. TheCakeWizard's Chocolate and Toba's Vanilla Fondant. Paisley ideas came from several cakes but specifically from Yourstrulytx. Silver glaze used as paint. Thanks to Amy729 for her black stripes, although mine are random cause I couldn't get them perfect like hers! And sweetsbyl for her gorgeous mortar board and tassel. You guys did gorgeous cakes! Thanks for posting them!

These were inspired by the work of ShamsD and IcingDreams from the Flickr site, not sure if they are on cake central and a gorgeous bright floral paisley dress I have. I have never worked with such bright colours and I fell in love with these. It was loads of fun. The butterflys, hearts and paisleys were my favourites.

I made this for my daughter and her friend who were sharing their 12th birthday party. She picked out argyle and paisley scrapbook paper for me to use for the patterns for the bottom tiers and they wanted smiley faces for the top tier. I know the fondant is sloppy, but the 6th and 7th graders were very impressed. WASC with MMF.
