A customer sent me a photo of a 9 inch bandana cake with a fondant hat on top and asked if I could make the cake larger and make the topper a cookie. So, I did! Oh, and the best part is that I used Wilton's Spray for the red color so there were no messy teeth or fingers (or clothes or lips...). I'm asking for an air brush for Christmas. Mixing stinks! :)

This i s my first fondant cake. Did it for a western themed baby shower. Used Pettinice White Rolled Fondant, it was wonderful. Didn't have time to learn how to work with MMF, even though it taste great! Like I sais this is my first cake and I know I have a lot of mistakes, but you must start somewhere. I didn't have a whole lot of time to learn all the process of cake decorating. Just started and had only a couple of weeks to figure out most of the things I needed to know to make one.

I forgot my favorite brother-in-law's birthday, so this was my peace offering. Chocolate with IMBC, freehand design, and a fondant badge. His nickname is the Marshall because he rides with the Sheriff (my dh), the Deputy and the Chief (two other brothers). He loved it.

This cake was for one of my best friend's baby shower. The cake was made to match the invitation in color and paisleys. I added the color pink to the mix since it is a girl-and the shade matched the flowers. This was my first time using the airbrush that my wonder husband gave me. I thought that the little paisleys came out very nice. Thanks so much for the inspiration and support!

This was for my niece. I printed one Vera's designs on a frosting sheet and added it to a basic purse shape. Very easy to do, but my niece liked it! I bought the change purse as an extra birthday gift to go with the cake. TFL!

This was a last minute cake I made using my new paisley cutters... Unfortunately it was on a day when CC was down and I wasn't sure how to come up with a pattern! this is technically a graduation cake but they didn't want it to be overly graduation themed so I went with the graduates favorite colors and added a little diploma on the top. All Fondant with buttercream piping...

This is my cake for the "2008 Losers Throwdown". It won 2nd place! Congrats to Tina for winning 1st place!
The cake was Pineapple cake with fresh pineapple filling, pineapple bc then covered in white choc fondant. Mask, high heel shoes, wired balls & roses were gumpaste. All other designs were made of fondant or fondant/gumpaste mix. Small details were piped in Royal Icing. This was my daughters 30th bday cake which we celebrated the same day the cake was due for the ThrowDown. Thanks for looking!:)

This was my first cake working with royal icing and doing any kind of detail work (like the paisley design). The cake was donated to the Ronald McDonald House at Texas Children's Hospital for their Valentine's Day party. I had a blast making it and it is one of my favorite cakes to date. :)

TThis is a yellow butter cake with a raspberry/cream cheese filling. It is decorated with buttercream icing and my hand hit it right before I took the picture. I was able to fix it, however, I did not have time to take more pics because the bridal party and guest were arriving. The henna design was done freehand and my first time without stecils. The flowers are silks, the bride was very happy with the cake and she had many guests tell her they loved it. I am also posting the grooms cake
