Slightly larger version of a cake I did before, in orange. I had given away the experimental white version and she came back to request a larger version for her office party. 10" tier is white cake with guava buttercream filling, 8" is carrot cake with cream cheese filling, 6" is chocolate with raspberry buttercream filling. Buttercream icing.

This is a somewhat replica of the pic that was entered in the halloween cake contest. I could not find who did the cake originally to give them artistic credit but who ever they are their idea made my niece very happy. It was a 10 inch 1 layer on bottom, 2nd layer was 8 inch and the top(spider was 4 inch shaped and head was muffin tin. All bc icing though. My sister put the legs on after she got it since she didn't bring them to begin with. Kids loved it from what I understand.

I made this cake for a Double-40th Birthday Party for 2 of my best friends Evelia and Aide. I didn't want to make an Over the Hill cake because my friends are always very happy people and I thought that a black and white cake it was going to be too boring and depressing for them. They loved the cake!!! The party was in October, so I used autumn colors.

I made this for a friend for her birthday. I was short on time and it did not turn out how I wanted it to. I like the colors, but not how it looked. I need a lot more practice with stacked cakes. My friend liked it, but I will be doing more for more practice. Any suggestions? I would love them.

This is the very last pumpkin I have made for this year. NO MORE until next year. Im tired of making them, even for pay. This was the 12tth, yes 12th! Large pumpkin cake for the season (in addition to 32 small ones). Thankgving is not even here yet and I dont want to make anymore. I was begged to do this last one for an children's auction by my mother. The large one is an 8 layer pumpkin cake and the small one is cheesecake. Both are covered in pumpkin mmf.

This is a 10" round yellow cake w/ a butterscotch filling (it was reminiscient of caramel though) I did a basketweave around the cake and a reverse shell for the top and regular shell border on the bottom. Turkey is done in the FBCT method. This was for a military function, and the comical part about it, no one wanted to cut the cake...they thought it was too pretty (not like I'm some well known cake maker!) I had fun making this cake, but thinking of so many frosting colours to make about drove me nuts!

One party left and out of sugarpaste - what to do, what to do???

Well, I made a fruitcake... My very first...
Sponge cake with fresh raspberry mousse, lemoncurd cream and chocolate ganache inbetween. Sides covered with "chocolate fingers" and top with fresh fruits such as pineapple, orange, blood orange, kiwi, banana, charon fruit, passion fruit, mango and physalis.

They are vanilla and chocolate. The lining has a leaf pattern that matches the leaves on top. I made the leaves out of royal icing. I made around 200 leaves, it took a while, lol.

These are called blue tree peonies. They are not botanically correct, but are what I wanted for the cake. The blossoms are free-hand, pulled flowers, and the leaves are called Israeli Ruscus. I tipped the leaves with gold to bring out the gold that was on the fabric on the table I set up. The photo was taken in another location.

This is a quick snapshot of my Halloween cake. It would have been a better picture if I would have taken it once I placed it on the glass cake tray. This cake was not perfect but all of my lil' ghost and goblins loved it at the Halloween Party.

Nieces birthday cake. 3rd cake ever done. And when I mean "ever done" I mean after all my wilton classes. Wasn't to happy with the way it turned out. She wanted blue, orange and white and didn't quite know how to make the colors blend without being tacky. Cake is 2 layer chocolate with stabilized whipped cream filling and iced with buttercream. 9- is fondant on toothpicks to stand and dusted with luster dust (I think it's called violet shimmer).
