This looks so dark due to the camera and lighting at 1:00am Anyway she wanted it sage and dark mauve with the girl onesie, She's bringing the real shoes to place on the doily but I used a figurine I had here for the picture. BTW the cake was half Chocolate half Vanilla with BC frosting. Onesie was fondant, doily was paper, will have real lace baby shoes on it when client arrives with them.

This is an 8" 2-layer square cake and 6" 2-layer round cake iced in buttercream. Stars, ribbon, bow, stripes, onesie and "tissue paper" strips are all fondant. This was inspired by Emmers' version of this cake for girls w/ flowers so I changed it for a baby boy's shower.

Birth announcement cookies!! Made with NFSC and MMF with royal accents, writing done with edible ink markers ......I don't have the paper for the tags so I will include another photo later on of them fully packaged. Oh and if anyone can offer me ANY assistance in keeping my cookies from spreading I would REALLY appreciate it!!! I even made a larger cutter for the fondant and as you can see the cookies are still much larger than the MMF. I even used half butter and half crisco and it helped some...

A cake to match the theme of the baby's room. The balls are fondant cutouts. I used royal icing for the accents on the baseballs and footballs, and edible marker to draw the black on the basketballs and soccer balls. Onesie is fondant (got the idea from another picture in the gallery) and the booties are half-fondant, half-gumpaste. It's a 10" square.

There are SO many cute pictures here of baby booties and onesies, I had to give it a try. The pattern was so easy, it wasn't a problem at all!! I tried to search for the picture that originally inspired me-it was for a boy and had a teddy bear in the pocket-so forgive me for not giving that person credit. I changed it a little, colors as per customer's request and the bunny in the pocket. This was one of my favorites to date! I think the onesie would have been better in pink, but this is what they like

Cake covered in fondant. Idea for cake came from Sandralita and others. I've got to remember to spray the cake with alcohol to dissolve the powedered sugar that doesn't wipe away. Thanks to everyone!

A shower with no real theme, so I got to play a bit. Thank you everyone for all your cakes. I did a little of this and a little of that from several cakes that I saw in the gallery. Thanks for looking!

Thanks to all of the CCer's cakes that insipired my version. The colors and some elements were taken from the shower invitation. 11x15 chocolate & vanilla layers filled with chocolate buttercream. All accents are fondant; booties are gumpaste. This was my first time using this much fondant and I really enjoyed it (working up my courage and skills to cover a cake with it!)

This is just simple sheet cake with a designed paper towel pressed into it to give it the blanket "look", although it didn't show up in the picture. I also did the hair tip at the ends to give it more of the blanket look. MMF onesie, and chocolate baby items around the cake.

This was for a customer who is having her third baby, but it was her husband's first! She was throwing him a surprise baby shower! She wanted it to be a Steeler's theme. I was so excited to finally try making a onesie cake. Thanks to everyone who has posted their onesie cake here on CC for the inspiration!
It is all BC with fondant accents.

These are Penny McConnell's cookies (I believe that's her name) with RBC and Antonia's icing for the details. I got inspiration from Cambo. I LOVE her cookies, and have a long way to go until mine look like her's...but I'm happy with them!
