This cake was made for a children's music festival at church. Based on characters from a Debbie Brown book. Chocolate cake with bright white buttercream. Decorations are made with fondant.

This is a full sheetcake-yellow and choc. flavored. Made for a birthday/cancer-free celebration. Gentleman was passionate about music. Keys are fondant brushed with white pearl. Musical notes around sides. My very first sheetcake and customer!

Guy's are so difficult to decorate for!. Cust's husband has eclectic hobbies. Piano, Guitar, HP Lovecraft, Computers and a love for Virginia Tech. I did edible images of piano keys, musical notes, a guitar and Virginia Tech colors. WASC with Raspberry filling and Creme Brule icing. Comments Welcomed!

Overal I'm okay with this cake. It certainly isn't my best, nor my favorite, but I think (hope and pray) they like it. I think I did good job capturing our login page and logo, as well as all my fondant pieces. I'm not crazy about the monitor stand or my borders. My writing is okay. Date 2 big and crooked. I'm hope they don't notice, but you know we are our own worst critics. Let me know what you think of the end result. Double layer, torted 8" square WASC cake with strawberry filling and BC icing

My church has a Songwriters Showcase once a year and I felt this was appropriate. Covered in fondant with fondant and royal icing accents, painted in gold luster dust.

This was made for a boy's 13th birthday the cake was vanilla buttercream with a raspberry jam as requested by his mother. The musical notes were all carbved out of fondant individually and some formed the cake topper which was my first time of making one. I used the straw method to insert this.

8" Peach/Mango flavored cake. Apricot preserves & peach BC filling. Frosted with peach BC. All decorations are sugarpaste. Board covered with fondant. I saw the board idea on a few cakes on CC, thank you for the idea.

First attempt at making a whimsical/topsy turvy cake. I chose this shape because it seemed appropriate after I heard the design that the customer wanted. They wanted a blend of elements that make up the birthday girl. The girl loves to shop @ American Eagle (AE), hence the Eagle on top. She loves music, hence the notes. She wears converse sneakers, hence the logo. She loves dolphins and sea shells, hence the first tier. I hope I achieved what they wanted. Cake is Puerto Rican almond recipe.

head and neck rainbow cake, the other 3 balls are chocolate chip cake. This cake was a night mare, took me forever. I had to build the base with a shelf, pipes cut to secure the balls. all the decorations are royal icing, gum paste or fondant

Birthday cake for a 65th birthday party. The lady wanted her color scheme of black, silver, red and emerald green incorporated into the design along with music and irish shammrocks. The cake is done in MMF with fondant accents and silver dragees. The musical score was drawn on with edible ink. The "65" is gumpaste painted in silver luster dust. TFL!

THis was for a 3 yr old who loves Hannah Montana thanks to her older sister! :) Cake was choc pound and vanilla with MMF accents and white choc. accents.

This cake was for my father's birthday. He has always been a really great dancer and loved the disco era (had the fro and all). The cake is strawberry with fresh strawberry BC, covered in MMF, gumpaste figure and RKT disco ball.

I made this WASC cake filled w/strawberry and BC covered in MMF for a Christmas EVe party at my good friend's house. I started it about 2 days ago and only today figured out what the theme would be. Susi's (my friend) parties are always lively so I knew music should play a factor in the cake. Growing up during the breakdancing era I wanted to include a few b-boys breakin' on the "ice". The side bar of music is a children's song I used to sing to my babies. Gumpaste & Fondant accents.

Ok so I met this really dear older couple that was getting married. They loved music (their own) and Rocy the groom called his wife to be his angel. So we sat down and this is what we came up with. I think it came out pretty good. 6", 8", and 10". Champaign and Pumpkin Spice with Cream cheese icing. *Yes Cream Cheese. I finally found a recipe that smooths out great and works pretty well.

I made these as taste testers for a client who never came to pick them up. Included in all these different cupcake flavors we about 3 different cookies too... but I thought it was one of my favorite cupcake set that I have done so far, so hope you like them. And also, my husband and his shop enjoyed them very much!
