I made this cake for my husband's uncle's 50th birthday - he and my husband are huge fans. It is a yellow cake with buttercream frosting and fondant decorations. The helmet is a clip art image that I downloded and covered in laminate. It was a huge success!

This was a request for a little girl's 2nd birthday. That tells ya how crazy people are for OU in Oklahoma! All is BC, except the football is plastic and the trophy and balloons are candles. I did the side border by striping the bag red with white icing and used an extra large ribbed icing tip.

I made a scratch butter cake, topped with MMF and a Buttercream transfer. He turns 30 on May 12 and asked for a Raiders cake for his party. It was my first time making black fondant, it was rough! AND my first time making a transfer, it turned out pretty well I think!

This is an all buttercream sheet cake. I made it for my son's 8th birthday. In hindsight I wish I had done the logo out of fondant-oh well next time! The little football is made out of rice krispies. Comment/critique please!

1/4 sheet cookies and cream cake iced with buttercream and covered with fondant. Airbrush green and BC gridiron lines and numbers, BC grass border. Helmet carved from 3 stacked 6x2" round layers of lemon poundcake. 18 guage wire facemask covered with fondant. Fondant pennant with the birthday boys' name in BC and fondant helmet accents. Luster dust with vodka for metallic gold. Helmet carved taller than needed, in anticipation of "smushing" when the fondant was applied.

Devils food with chocolate BC filling. Decorated with BC and fondant accents. The figure was the cutest bobble head ever and I managed to convince the bakery manager at my local supermarket that I needed it, so he sold it to me. The jersey had the name and age of the cake's recipient. The pic didn't show any of my silver lust dust that looked soo good on all my accents and the jersey.

Sheet base is choc cake w/vanilla buttercream. Qwest Field stadium is 6" choc cake w/MMF. "Blitz" Seahawk mascot is fondant. Logo on side and top of stadium (not very visible) are chocolate transfers (thanks Kym's Cakes for the inspiration!) Not much detail on stadium as only 6", but you get the idea. Thanks for looking
