Cake iced in buttercream, outside lined with fondant, fondant and BC seaweed. Edible images of Nemo characters. I wish I had more time I would have backed all the characters with fondant like I did the pelican on top and made them more 3D, but it came out cute.

This cake was made using buttercream frosting, and marshmallow fondant for the Nemo figure. The blue buttercream gradually gets darker from the top to the bottom layers.

I made Nemo from the fondant, & used black edible marker for the details. This was the 1st time that I've used marshmallow fondant. It was pretty sticky and messy to make, but I really like the taste better than the pre-packaged fondant. I hadn't made any figures like this before, so I was really happy with how it turned out

Cake for a 2 years birthday boy. I frosted the cake with buttercream and made several figures in fondant (2 Nemos, corals. leaves and some shells) I placed 4 plexiglass walls on top of the cakes with enough space for the jelly bean rocks. He loved it!

Mostly MMF, chocolate shells, graham cracker sand. Love details...after Bruce sat for a week-filled him with Al foil, wood grain sign, #2, candles. 13.5" oval base and way TOO high wave 5
x?9" dowelled like crazy for 1 hour transport. I especially LOVED brendaannes' "finding nemo" cake--THANKS! and Vmoore's amazing waves. Thanks for the inspiration and then I have some original stuff on there:)

I used Wilton's football pan and carved the fins out of a 1/4 sheet cake. A pretty easy cake to do, but it just took so looooong to do all those stars.

Each tier represents colors and patterns found on the party plates or in the movie. The mom didn't want the actual characters on the cake. I think it turned out looking very fun!

Yellow Chocolate Chip Cake, 12" bottom with 10" middle and an oval on top, sculpted slightly to appear more flowing and not so round. BC icing with the blue not mixed totally to look more marbled like water. The sea grass is fondant and the pink coral RI. The two large white coral's on top with Nemo are White Chocolate (thx ShirleyW) along with chocolate shells, and the rest is all gumpaste. I modeled Mr. Ray (the stingray) the rest are Disney Figures. Nemo's Anemone is a fruit rollup! Enjoy!!

This was my first attempt at a multi-layer cake. The top layer was for my daughter and the bottom two layers were for the other guests. I used an actual fish in the bottom layer in a glass bowl.
