My friend's DD is a coffee and chocolate fanatic so they wanted, fudge brownies, cookies shaped like a coffee mug and this coffee mug cake for her grad open house. The cake is chocolate covered in BC and fondant accents. The "coffee" and steam are dark chocolate candy melts.

My first "perfect" cake! Yeay! Nothing I was unhappy with, and no "backside" to the cake. Dark Chocolate cake with pb mousse filling and buttercream, and my first MMF! It was easy peasy! My first decorated cookie, too.

Thanks to ckiecrumb for the inspiration and help on these cupcakes! i did them a little different than hers. The cupcakes were mocha and raspberry white cake with vanilla, almond buttercream. I dusted cinnamon and cocoa on the top and use white chocolate for the handles and dark chocolate for the steam! The mocha cupcakes were to DIE for! This was for a opening of a photo gallery in a local coffee shop! I made a Extra Large Mug for the owners to go with it!

Cake for my husband's 31st birthday. He is a HUGE beer drinker, and the guys he works with have been bugging me to bake for them again. Plus I needed to test a couple of new recipes for my sister-in-laws wedding.

I made this cake after seeing lkfarley's beer mugs. Thank you. My friend's husband 40th was themed after beer mug and cigars. It was quite easy. three 4" rounds, buttercream. The handle is made from Candy clay. The small indentation was a gift from my 2-1/2 yr old son.

11x15 base. I baked the mug in a soup can. Buttercream everything except the golf balls and mug handle. Handle-foamcore covered in buttercream, golf balls- plastic :) . Airbrushed. I didn't put any support under the mug because I didn't think it was that heavy, but it feel over on the way delivering it, so I had to go home and make another and put support under it. Luckily, I had baked 2! Lesson learned- better to be safe than sorry!!

Coffee mug cake for a coffee lover. The cake ordered was just a marble cake and I added the chocolate ganache to the top for the coffee and gave it a nice swirl. The steam pieces are gumpaste as well as the handle. Started with the wondermold pan and carved it down a bit. Fondant covered with super pearl airbrushed.

I made this for my bestfriend who wanted an ocean scene. She loves coffee so I decided to make a cappucino cake and because of that I decided to do a coffee cup with an ocean scene on it. The whole thing is done with buttercream. I used 2 9X13 cake which I stacked and then carved to a curved shape.

I made this for one of the doctors at work. She's constantly drinking coffee! The cake and fondant are made with coffee instead of water/milk. The frosting is my whipped frosting. I wish I'd have done the handle more plain but...maybe next time :) TFL

This yellow beer mug cake with butterscotch frosting was pretty big. It consisted of (3) 8" and (1) 10" rounds, all cut in half held together with icing and dowels. The shield is the birthday boy's initials who was turning 59. On the way to the birthday party, a maniac about ran me off the road and almost ruined it all.
