Inspired by a Gateaux Inc. cake, I did this version in pale pink but my fondant faded to almost white. The vertical black stripes are fondant put thru a pasta machine, with a black fondant initial monogram topper. The board is a double stacked cake drum with black ribbon with ball feet glued on and spraypainted.

The roses and monogram plaques are gumpaste with hand painted gold edges. It is Ivory buttercream with fondant accents painted with gold luster dust. This cake was for my parents and it took a lot of time and money but I did it out of love for my parents.

Bride requested a cake that was simple and elegant. She provided the monograms (which were larger than I usually use). Bouquets were mango calla lilies, she wanted the same on cake with a simple design. Covered in fondant with royal icing details.

So simple and elegant--all ivory BC. This is my second wedding cake since Sugarshack's DVD--the difference in the smoothness of my BC is amazing! This cake was for a reception that was held 1 month after the couple was married in Italy--so romantic!!! The entire room was decorated with pictures of them in Italy, Paris, all in black and white and then a few gorgeous celery green colored accents. It was a really lovely reception and I was so glad to be a part of it!

One of my favorites so far. Flowers were put on by the florist. Bride chose the ribbon and they had designed their own mongram logo - which I hand painted in the colors which matched the ribbon on a piece of fondant and attached to bottom tier. This wedding was gorgeous!!

This was so much fun and my first time doing chocolate transfers. I was nervous about doing it on a square instead of a round but I actually think it made it easier. The cake is Yellow & Chocolate cake with Chocolate & French Vanilla Mousse filling. Fresh flowers to decorate. Thanks to many threads I read here on Cake Central for the knowledge & information to do this technique! Thanks for looking!

These were the cookies for the black and white and silver wedding given out instead of cake. They go with the fake cake already uploaded. Thanks to the Marmalade Cake company whose cookies the bride loved and which inspired these. :)

triple stacked birch logs with chocolate walnuts, acorns, other nuts, and edible rice paper fall leaves scattered on layers Cake was 3 layers of the Pumpkin cake II recipe found on CC (less the walnuts in case of any allergies) with the Dec. cream cheese icing found on CC. Cake was iced smooth, then refrigerated to set up. The bark effect was done using a very fine point paint brush dipped in Dark chocolate "melts" that I thinned out with a touch of veg. oil then painted on.

Here is a golf bag inspired grooms cake. My mom and sister, who are golfers, were my technical advisors for this cake! I think it turned out great - except the bp clubs I made 4 days ahead of time never would get firm enough to hold up, so DH quickly made me a set out of wood the morning of the wedding and I wrapped plastic wrap around the dowel rod ends to protect the cake. Thanks for looking!
