This is the cake I made for my mom for Mothers Day. It is yellow cake coevered in a secret recipe white icing. The flower is ma clematis made of gumpaste. It is the first time I have ever attempted such a difficult flower. let me know what ya think.

Cake base is WASC but each layer is flavored with Kiwi, strawberry, orange and mango. Got lazy and 'shared' each layer with 2 flavorings. Buttercream frosting with strawberries and lime slices.

This is my version of the ever-popular "Mod Mom" baby shower invitation. The cake is covered in BC with fondant accents. I added the curly wires and pearls for an added like "zip!!" Thanks for looking!!!

This cake taught me a lot!!. Friend wanted red velvet w/cream cheese frosting. I baked 2 6" and 2 8" cakes. Little tall. I made gum paste roses, blue bells and lots of other flowers. The "MOM" was fondant w/royal icing decorations. Looked great on day 1...Day 2 everything started to flop and run. Had to redo every thing and make butter cream roses. I will not try to decorate cream cheese again. I guess every cake is a learning experience. Friend loved it..

Made this for my mom. Again just practiced with things I'd just learned like the reverse shell border (which took a lot more icing than a reg shell so I didn't have enough to do the bottom border the same), and the flowers.

For a boy shower so didn't want to use any of the pink. Top tier vanilla w/ vanilla pudding, bottom tier chocolate w/ chocolate pudding. Fondant w/ fondant & gumpaste accents. First tiered cake!
