This is a cake I did for a little girls 2nd birthday. The head of the cake is a 10" round and the ears are 6" round cakes that I trimed to fit the shape of the head. The sides and face are buttercream, and the facial features and ears are done in fondant.

These cakes were made for my neice's 2nd Birthday Party. I was inspired by jaklotz1's minnie mouse cake. The cake is frosted with buttercream frosting and the facial features and ears are fondant. Minnie's bow is fondant/gumpaste. The birthday girl loved it!

I was inspired by another Cake Central baker...thanks for the great idea!
I almost tried a "character pan"....that wouldn't have been half as sweet.

I made this for my sister in-law. It was her son's idea to do a Minnie cake, and her favorite color is lime green so I used it for her dress and bow. Buttercream frosting.

I really like Ximenilla's Baby Mickey and Minnie cake and here's my version. Although my figures are far from hers but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Thank you Ximenilla.

I did this cake for my niece's 5th birthday. She had a cowgirl theme and I just used a Mickey Mouse pan. With a dress and a bow between the ears, he became a she! I cut the horse out of a 15" x 11" pan. At the party, we added twine from her hand to the horse's bridle to add the final touch.

This was a groom's cake, designed to coordinate with the figurines. First time doing a pillow cake, a few issues with that. Hand-painted with luster dusts on fondant.

Here's our daughter's 2nd Birthday Cake. It's following the Wilton Mickey Mouse pattern from the 06 Yearbook I tried to modify it for being Minnie Mouse instead. It turned out OK as I had trouble half way into it with my MMF. It took fine on the bottom (yellow) layer and the first layer on the (red) doll pan with the white dots. After that it became 'over worked' as I call it and was to easily torn. I guess by then I'd worked in to much color and crisco. Overall everyone loved it. Thanks for looking.
