This was an 8" round with 5" round ears. All Buttercream, except the bow (still practicing with that fondant - lol) and airbrushed.

Thanks to all those I have studied around here, I can't believe I actually pulled this off. The "house" was really too big for the base cake, but anyway, I made it work! Thanks so much for the inspirations!! Oh, and everything is cake except the head, it's styrofoam. The ears and hand are just fondant, everything else is cake with fondant covering.

This was so much fun. I am a huge Mickey fan and wanted to make mickey years for my birthday cake. I added Minnie's bow for color. The ears and bow are fondant and the rest is buttercream. I even wrote my name in yellow just like they do at disneyland. Hope you enjoy it. I sure did.

Thanks to Nunuk for the inspiration for this cake. I made the mistake of using
the Wilton Tasty-fill pan for the bottom tier and the top is eggless. It is leaning to one side as a result even though I put dowels in it. Oh well, lesson learned! Both are Devil's Food with raspberry cream filling. Buttercream icing with MMF and gumpaste accents. It was for my SIL 30th birthday. I've nicknamed it "Mitzi's leaning tower of Minnie". LOL

This was my first 4 tier wedding cake and my first attempt at SugarShaks stacking method. It was TOO heavy to deliver stacked but I used the same process once I arrived at the reception site. It was so easy and way less stress.

4in high layers 4,6,8,11. Buttercream with fondant accents. Base is covered in fondant to look like Jamaican flag. This is for a bridal shower for a destination wedding in Jamaica. Bride loves Disney as well so we put mickey and minnie on the cake.

I made this for my daughter's 1st birthday. This is my first attempt at a topsy turvy. I used LOTS of dowel rods to make sure it didn't fall down. Each tier is two to three cakes stacked and angeled. Used BC for the main frosting and added fondant decorations. The minnie mouse hat is half of a ball pan covered in fondant with gumpast ears and bow. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Here is my version of a cake I believe was originally made by Jaklotz.
It is an 8" round cherry cake with cherry BC filling, and the ears are 6" round yellow cake with cherry BC filling. Everything is iced in BC and then the
face and features, ears and bow are all fondant

Colorful and fun design for a child's party--this cake was made for an adoption party. Cake tiers covered and decorated in fondant. Figurines purchased from the Disney Store. Topper hand-made to resemble the Clubhouse using dowels, styrofoam, wire, and fondant--built on a cardboard base.

This cake is a Disney/Minnie Mouse themed topsy turvey cake. The minnie mouse was made in advance and is styrofoam covered in fondant. I hand sculpted the face on a ball of styrofoam then covered it in fondant. I transported the cake without the top to get it there safely then assembled. It was not an easy cake to do and I learned alot from this experience.
