This is definitely my favorite cake so far. I am so happy with how it turned out, it was for my daughter's 7th birthday, she had a Glamor Party with 11 girl friends and they all took a piece of icing make up home. :) This was my first shoe, and my first purse. This cake was for my daughter's "Glamor" party at Sharkeys Cuts for Kids. :) The cake board is covered with fondant. The shoe box is a rectangle double layer chocolate cake filled and covered with vanilla butter cream icing than covered with home made fondant. The purse is a double layer white cake, with each side being half of a 10 inch round, filled and covered with vanilla butter cream then home made fondant. The shoe, letters/numbers, handles and all make-up & accessories are handmade from gum paste/fondant. The mirror has a thick coat of silver luster dust and all black accents are "painted" with pearl luster dust, I had no idea how to decorate the shoes so used a pyramid of dragees. (October, 2010)

Round layer cake iced in buttercream icing and sprayed with airbbrush color. Purse, rice crispy treat covered in marshmallow fondant and hand painted with airbrush color. All make-up items made of fondant and gumpaste; shoe made of gumpaste and handpainted. All edible.

Buttercream Purse Cake with Fondant Accents and Accessories. The person who ordered this cake specifically wanted white buttercream. I wanted sooo badly to cover it in fondant in order to make the purse look more authentic, but of course we have to stick with what the customer wants ;) lol. Accents on the purse are mmf and all accessories are fondant or fondant/gumpaste mix.

Did this for a 6 year old who was having a little girls spa party. Her mother said she wanted lots of makeup on the cake. I came up with this. It was a hit. The cake is 1/4 sheet cake covered in BC. The purse is cake covered in fondant. All the makeup is made with fondant.

This is the cake I made for my daughter`s 8th bday party. It was a make-over themed bday party. This was the first time i ever used fondant! So fun :) The cake was chocolate with whipped chocolate cookie crunch filling. Iced in vanilla buttercrean and covered in MMF. MMF decorations. Got my ideas from cakes I`ve seen on this site. Hope you enjoy it!

This was my first ever attempt at making a 3D cake, this was a vanilla sponge, with chocolate fudge filling. All the make up pieces are made from fondant. Im still really please that this was the outcome of my first attempt, only a year ago. I know it can do with finishing touches but to a beginner i was proud!!!

Girlie dress-up cake for a friend's daughter having a dress-up birthday party. They wanted a version of a cake on CC, just smaller. I need to add in their name here, so I can give them proper credit. BC frosting with fondant and gum paste accents/decorations. Purst and make-up bag are RKT covered in fondant. My first time making gum paste shoes, I was really pleased with how this one turned out. Thanks for looking!

This is a snow globe I made for Christmas gifts for friends. I had intentions to make a hard candy globe to place over the cake to resemble to glass and even made the mold, but simply ran out of time before I got the sizes right, etc. So that will be my project for next year. The inside is a white cake colored green and a red velvet cake. (a 6in and a 4in) The top was covered in white Mm fondant then sprinkled with edible white glitter flakes and some white nonpareils as snow balls. This one features a Mary Kay theme-hence Mary Christmas! The top is MM fondant boxes filled with products and everything is hand painted.

For the girl who loves EVERYTHING, but especially MAC make-up :-D The picture and IPod are made using edible rice paper (the picture was printed on it with edible ink). The picture frame is made out of pastillage and royal icing for decor, then edible metallic paint was used to color the frame. The rest of the items are modeling chocolate painted with edible colors, etc.

Strawberry cake, vanilla buttercream covered in MMF. Purse is RKT with MMF. Beads and make up are MMF as well. Made for a little girl that is always getting into Mommy's make up.
