Birthday cake for a monkey luau themed birthday party. Design is based on the party plates they will be using. 5" cake frosted in buttercream with fondant and gumpaste decorations.

I wanted to create the look I had seen done with ribbon on other cakes with fondant ribbons. I put the fondant ribbons on before I covered the cake - um... that didn't work too well! Next time I will cover the cake first! Still learning! :-) But I liked the over-all look!

Strawberry cake covered in lime green Marshmallow fondant. Gum paste roses, fondant leave petals and purchased feathered butterflies added. I also made small and large rounds of fondant as a border over the pink ribbon. The "C" is wood, I painted and decorated it.

Zebra and Lime Green cake design. :) Monogram on top is made of gumpaste, airbrushed black and covered in black disco dust while it was wet. :))) MMF for the rest of all the decor. Cake was vanilla and chocolate with a zebra stripe marble and strawberry filling. TFL

Made for a friend's daughter. Original design done on a mini cake by bandckakes. This is a 6inch & 8inch tier. Top daisy made from fondant using my new 4 inch daisy cutter. TFL!

This cake turned out so much better than I thought it would! When the bride told me to put lime green, hot pink, and cobalt blue all on the same cake--I was worried about how it would look. But I am proud of how it came out! This was much first time using a real ribbon on a cake or trying the viva paper towel to smooth my buttercream. It worked so well! The bottom tier is yellow cake and the rest is chocolate fudge cake all covered in buttercream made with my newly found high ratio shortening. Thank you so much for everything!

Made this cake...All good, got a phone call at 9:30pm, Mom and Daughter both crying, cake was smashed. Started baking, got up at 6 am and started decorating, delivered by 2pm Just in time to party like a Rock Star.... again LOL

Gentle topsy turvy cake. Bottom is a Dulce de Leche cake covered in white buttercream and green fondant strips. Top is chocolate with lime green buttercream and white fondant diamonds. Added some non edible diamond decorations.

Made this for my daughters friends sister who is 21 yrs old and has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and is finally in remission. Her family is having a big remission party on Saturday, this is my contribution. Cake is marble with buttercream, covered in Lime green fondant trimmed in lime green cancer ribbons and stars. Lime green is the color of Non Hodgkins lymphoma. Thanks for looking.

The instructions I was given for this cake order was "nothing very girly". The birthday girl likes skulls, black, lime green & blue. Her mother asked that it be something different with some splashes of color & geometric shapes. Base cake is 14" square dark chocolate cake, middle tier is 10" round red velvet cake, top tier is 6' single layer chocolate hex shaped cake. TFL

The bride and groom were doing an apple theme =) They wanted "Don't sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me!" put on their cake =) Hand made whimsical tree and figures. The hour glass is foam, and the rest is all cake. The picture makes it look blueish, but it's actually purple and lime green =)

Fondant covered Zumba gym bag cake in honor of Myra, who is a Zumba instructor. Gumpaste workout CD. The cake was strawberries and cream. TFL!

This is a double layer 8 inch square, and a double layer 6 inch round. The cakes are covered in MMF, and the decorations are wilton fondant, cut with a cricut cake. This was for my best friends daughter, for her sweet 16. She's not into pink, so we did green!

I made this cake for my baby shower, I'll be having a little girl in just 2 weeks! :) Everybody thought I was crazy to make my own cake, but I really wanted to have a cute cake, and I don't have any friends that do cakes. It's an 8in+6in frosted in buttercream, with fondant for the accents. This is the first time I've used the First Impressions baby mold, and it was so fun and easy!

Simple Birthday cake - vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling, covered in white fondant and black fondant zebra stripes. Used Pink and green fondant/gum paste mixture for the curled ribbons on top :)

A hot pink, lime green turtle carrying a birthday cake!! Fun cake to do for my friends daughter who requested the cake. Its a chocolate cake, with caramel and pecan filling, covered in ganache, and MMF. TFL!!

This is for my niece's 10th birthday. She loves Peace Signs and Zebra Stripes, so I put them together for her birthday cake. Favorite colors are pink and lime green. Cake is Orange and Frosting is Buttercream, with fondant stripes and Letters.
