October wedding featuring white, lemon, pumpkin, & chocolate cakes (top to bottom), iced in buttercream (pumpkin layer with cream cheese). The bride drew a sketch for me to follow. Gumpaste tiger lilies with buttercream swirls and silver dragees. Bride wanted chunky letters (cut from gumpaste and painted with edible silver). Used real ribbon instead of fondant, for ease of on-site setup of cake. Buttercream suffered some tiny cracks due to 3-hour drive and hot weather!!

This was made for our Wrestling Banquet. Our mascot is a Lion and I traced him on wax paper with royal. I used a brush to create the texture on the red portion of the lion. The letters are royal also - I traced them ahead of time and just peeled them off and put them on when I assembled the cake. It's a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache frosting. I used the ganache for the piping too - the first time I've ever done that. It worked really well.

This cake is for a little girl who is having a cheer themed party. Her school colors are black and red. After I finished it I realized that it would work for a graduation cake too for a cheerleader. I was happy with the way it came out but there are a few things I would do differently if I did it again. All fondant except the silhouettes and pom poms, they are royal icing.

My daughter's kindergarten teacher does a wedding every year to marry the Q and U so they can make the "qu" sound. Cheesy, I know but very cute for the kids. Anyway, she asked me if I would do a cake for it. She was expecting a sheet cake but I surprised her with this. I think it turned out cute and the kids loved it.
Buttercream with fondant flowers and GP letters. My BC still isn't perfect but it is slowly improving!

This cake was designed to look like the bedding the baby will have. It is called Alphabet soup. All fondant work. Handmade baby rump topper. The baby blanket is designed to look like the blanket that matches the bedding set. I handcut the animals, letters, numbers and giraffe spots!

I did this cake for my nephew James, who turned 3. When I asked what he wanted he said colors. It is covered in fondant with icingimage sheets on top that where run through my edible ink printer, then I "colored" the page with petal dusts. The crayons and boxes are made of fondant. The crayons have edible image sheets wrapped around each one.

The couple's colors were yellow and green. Like John Deere yellow and green. Hard to incorporate into a tasteful shower cake, in my opinion. :) But I like the final result!

This cake is a two-layer square butter pecan cake with crusting cream cheese icing. Rich and delicious! The flower is a silk I bought at Walmart. The additional photo shows that plate from the shower that I was to match.

This is a full sheet half wasc and half choc wask covered in buttercream with fondant gown/tassel and gumpaste cap and diploma. I had never seen a grad cake with the gown on it yet, so I decided to try it. It took me awhile to figure out how to construct it. The gown was originally longer and was going to hang over the edge of the cake but while tranfering it to the cake it ripped at the top so I had to make adjustments which ment shortening the length of the gown. They loved it anyway. No one even noticed. I have an order for another one just like it except the other boy's name will be Tyler...not much different. I hope the next one will work without tearing. Thanks for taking the time to look at my pictures.

My client sent me a photo of another cake, someone else had done. She wanted basically the same thing. I changed it a little, but overall I think I did okay. Nothing fancy here, just simple and clea. The my little ponys are plastic. Everything else is fondant, and or gumpaste. The cake is covered in buttercream icing. CSM

I was so happy how this turned out, I tried so hard to get the sharp edges on this cake, I wanted them crisp and clean. The broaches were such a nice touch. I like how clean and elegant this thurned out
