My son's b-day cake. His design, down to the red RI "spikes". 6" rounds stacked in a pyramid. He placed the Bionicles where he wanted them. They are not attached, so when we moved to cake outside, he had to re-set them up. It was so cute to see him so serious and concentrating on where each one would look best!

My 14 year old brother wanted a mars mission cake for his birthday so I made the cake to look like mars and we put his (throughly washed) Lego mars mission men on his cake. The aircraft is being suspended on some beading wire hanging from part of a metal coat hanger that we cut off to make it look like it's flying (his own idea). All bc icing scraped and patted to make it look rough with cake scraps put on top for the hills. Thanks for looking!

My son fell in love with the Indiana Jones Lego cake that angel941985 made and Angie was kind enough to send me instuctions so here is my version. I made it for my son's best friend who was 6 today. The arms are rice crispies and the rest is cake, I'd never used rice crispies before but they worked really well. It is all covered in fondant.

This was for my son's friend, who was having an Indiana Jones birthday party. The cake is covered in fondant, the giant legos are rice kripsy treats covered in buttercream and fondant. My husband and son had fun putting the lego set together for me.

a fun cake to do but it took longer to put the little circles on the legos than it did to apply the legos themselves. The birthday boy love it!

Here's the follow-up to Anakin Skywalker. This is one of my entries in the Nevada State Fair this week. I learned alot doing Anakin and I think Indiana Jones came out even better. This one is all cake excep tthe arms, hands and lego blocks which are RCT. Modeling chocolate was used for the hat and whip, ediable image for the sign and clothing is painted on with food color. I wish I would've made these legos out of fondant. The "connectors" are made from chocolate melts using a baking cup.

Buttermilk vanilla cupcakes with chocolate shavings (stracciatella), with buttercream, accented with cake block Legos, covered in RI & M&Ms. If I do this again, I'd for sure use petit-fours fondant instead of RI. Birthday boy was really pleased, and that was the goal!! TFL!

I made this lego cake from some instruction on the Betty Crocker website. I used 2 13x9x2 cakes stacked with chocolate pudding in the middle. The tops of the legos are marshmallows cut in half. My son said it was the "best cake ever!" (Picture was taken before I could smooth out all the frosting)

All fondant, gumpaste Lego Indiana Jones. For my son's 6th birthday! (look what happens when one cuts the supports a tiny bit too short! Plus FL's humidity!) =0( NOT happy but lesson learned! My baby loved it though, all that really matters!!!!

client put in a last minute order for a cake for her grandson. my schedule was open, so i decided to see if i could help out. she said his parents had bought him legos as a present and that he has a stuffed puppy that he sleeps with. i decided to combine the two, and this is what i came up with. white sour cream cake with cookies and creme filling. gumpaste legos and fondant blanket with "embroidered" name and birthdate in corner.

friend asked that I make a lego cake for his young son's birthday. Had a bit of a challenge as he wanted buttercream not fondant and wanted all white cake. Used the sour cream almond cake recipe, substituting vanilla for the almond extract. Scraps tasted great :)

Chocolate cake with vanillla BC finish. The brick connectors are also BC, and I had quite a time shaping those little things! The ladder, wheelbarrow and shovel are all hand molded from a putty-like royal icing. I saw a cool lego cake on CC last month that had the construction look (thanks, aimers!), so I found a way to incorporate something similar by cutting away some cake and packing in stacked candy bricks. Lego mini-figures are going to be placed at various spots on the cake by the birthday boy's Mom

My son wanted a Lego cake with Indy Jones Legos sitting on top of the cake so a little friend of his put the Lego set together for me as I am Lego illiterate and this is what we came up with. Dark Chocolate cake with Chocolate Icing.

I made this from a rectangle sheet cake and 4 upside-down cupcakes. I cut 1/3 of the sheet cake off and stacked it on top of the resulting square. I had a problem with the blue paste coloring: I guess it was old and clumped in the frosting. The kids (7-year-olds) didn't notice, though!

Based on the video game, Lego Indiana Jones. Hierogliphics done in RI on sides, top is FBCT...like at the beginning of the game there's an old map and the plane and the drawings and I guess it's a passport.
