This is from the Wilton Wedding Dream Cakes book cover. This is the second time I've made it and both times I've adored it. It has about 200 fondant rose leaves. This was one of the more beautiful receptions I've ever delivered a cake to. It was gorgeous.

The topper is made out of white chocolate colored yellow and dark chocolate. The leaves are made out of a "tulip paste" that you spread over a stencil and bake in the oven.

I made this cookie cake (16") for my coworkers. They are my best customers, so I try to bring in something everyone now and again - nothing fancy, just something to say thanks. :)

A square cake dummy for pictures sake. A royal pita to make, my icing crusted far too soon, then I couldn't smooth it. ERG!! Let me know if you think this is good enough for my bridal magazine ad, I need 6 pictures.

Leaves are made out of fondant then hand painted and veined, most leaves had to be hand shaped as I only had one cookie cutter shape! It was alot of fun to make! September b'day so it was fall themed.

I've never tried the Ganache before. I wish I had let it cool a bit more before putting it on the cake. It wouldn't have run quite so bad. The White Chocolate Leaves are accented with gold and poppy red luster dust as is the fondant acorn. I also used some green icing color to help color the leaves. Otherwise it's a basic Devils Food Cake and the Ganache with Rum added and the flavored Pirouettes surrounding. It was fun, but would let it cool more next time.

This is a apple spice cake with crusting cream cheese icing. It was supposed to be a bushel basket, like the one rainamehta made (her's is so much better), but the apple cake didn't rise like I thought it would, it was more dense.

This is an applesauce spice cake with cinnamon buttercream icing. This was my first basketweave cake. The leaves are fondant painted with watered down gel food coloring and sprinkled with gold sugar dust. The only thing I may change next time is to try a cream cheese icing with the spice cake.

This is my first wedding cake. My niece asked me on Monday for a cake on Saturday. The cake was iced with buttercream icing. The Celtic Trinity Knot (behind the bride & groom cake topper) was made out of royal icing along with the roses & initials (LMP2 - the bride and grooom had the same initials) The leaves and acorns were made out of fondant dusted with bronze gold luster dust.

I made this for the HR lady at my husband's job. They had their thanksgiving meal today and she ordered this for the party. It's an 11X15" chocolate/chocolate chip cake with buttercream icing. I made the leaves and acorns out of gumpaste and painted them all by hand. Thanks for looking!

Pumpkin Spice Cake (YUMMY!) with apricot filling and cream cheese icing. First time using gumpaste, next time I won't let the leaves dry before putting on the cake so they can bend naturally.

This is a crrot cake. It started out to have cream cheese icing but it was to runny and I got stressed and took it all off and put buttrecream. I than ran out of the icing that I was going to fall a pretty bed of flowers so I had to improvise again. Finally I have a pumpkin patch. There are still areas I need to touch up before I take it to work. One of those days!

A friend wanted a bow cake with fall colors. This is what I came up with. Bow is fondant with gumtex; leaves are colored candy melts brushed with coloring and sprinkled with Wilton crystals.

This is a 2-layer 8" square cake covered in buttercream basketweave. I made life-slzed maple and oak leaves out of brown fondant swirled with burnt orange and gold. I hand sculpted the acorns from fondant and haphazardly placed it all on the cake to make it look like the ground after a sharp autumn breeze -- with acorns and leaves scattered all around.

Chocolate cake with Chocolate Syrup Frosting. Basket weave with a star tip. I piped chocolate over the backs of silk leaves (kind of like doing a chocolate transfer) and then painted them with Antique green, Pumpkin and Old Gold luster dust.

Thurman Wedding - Cake is all French Vanilla with buttercream icing tinted in a light ivory. The leaves are all cut outs of MMF, tinted in two shades of ivory. The bride wanted half the leaves to match the ivory on the cake and half the leaves to be just a tad darker.
