A cake for a frog-themed baby shower, and loosely based on the invitation (top right corner). The ladybugs and bees are royal icing, and the frogs are hand-sculpted MMF. Each little frog is in a different pose. My favorite is the one who has his hand over his mouth -- he looks like he's up to something!

My first tiered cake, done for a funeral reception for our dear friends who lost their 6yo angel very suddenly. Her 'signature' was ladybugs, so there are fondant ladybugs, shimmery doves (6), and sparkling butterflies and flowers. My way to contribute to the remembrance of this amazing little girl. The family was veryplease and appreciative. The cake was my adaptation of a Wilton yearbook cake, with incorporation of suggestions from CC folks - THANK YOU ALL!!

My first attempt at ladybugs. So fun and cute! the inspiration was my 2 year old. We saw a ladybug on something today and he commented on it and I thought "wouldn't that be cute on Joshua's cake". I love how it turned out!

My goal for this cake was for it not to be feminine or chocolate covered. I suceeded in this, but wound up with slightly juvenile design. Alas...it's a free cake for my father in law's 60th birthday and it matches my son's 1st birthday cake...we'll be celebrating them together! :)

This is a smash cake for my neice's 1st birthday party to match the big cake, I copied this idea from a member of this site-kimistry- thanks so much for the idea, it was just what I was looking for. This was fun to do, but tired my hand from all of the grass.
