This cake was made for my daughter's Kindergarten class when they had a picnic with the seniors who were coming into their classroom to read to them once a week! It is a 9x13 white butter cake with vanilla butter cream icing. The lady bugs, flowers and picnic basket are fondant/gum paste and the basket has Ritz Crackers poking out of it! June, 2009

I had to make some cute cuppies for an order yesterday, and thanks to toeknee's lovely cuppies, I got my design idea! BC frosted, vanilla butter cake, blackberry filling, fondant decorations brushed with luster dust. I don't usually work with cuppies, but this was quite fun! I'll have to work a little harder to make such small cakes look great, I tip my hat to those of you who do these small works of art! Thanks for looking!

Swedish themed cake for a welcome home party. The girl had been away for 1,5 year in the US and her mum ordered a cake with a Swedish theme and one with an American theme, as her American boyfriend came with her back to Sweden, and at the same time, it was the 4th of July.
Some of the decorations are gumpaste, but mostly fondant, covered in fondant.

NFSC with tara1970 icing. TFL! Lady bugs modeled after JenWhitlock and TracyLH. (I added this part later 'cause I couldn't add another comment after I put JenW down. They both are awesome and I saw they both had a similar lady bug.)

I made this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I used a domed cake pan. I believe it was yellow dough and iced with buttercream icing. I bought the little sugar ladybugs from Sugarcraft.com (I believe). Ironically, no one would eat the lady bugs head :)

This was a gluten free, vegan baby shower cake for the mom-to-be. Decorated to resemble an Anne Geddes Lady Bug baby. I also made lots of cupcakes with different flower designs on different flavored cupcakes.

This is a two layer 9 inch lemon cake with lemon buttercream and lemon curd filling and buttercream frosting. I pressed Piroutte cookies into the side and tied a real ribbon around. The flowers and lady bugs are candy clay. The tag is paper. This was a very easy and quick cake to make. The hardest part was discovering that one entire can of cookies were broken and trying use them anyway. By the way, I used two cans of the regular size cookies and they cost $5.50 per can!
