I've made this one before but instead of the entire thing being made out of fondant, I used real lollipops, spice drops and mints.

The bottom layer is a 10" round and the top is a 6" round. This design is in the Wilton book "Celebrate with Fondant". :-)

This was for my son's best friend's 8th birthday. I made a sheet cake and cut and stacked them then placed cupcakes on top to look like Lego's. Frosted in buttercream. (*I already uploaded this last night, but it was a small picture and when I tried to make it bigger, I couldn't get the picture to appear, so 2nd try here!*)

Chocolate cake in Wonder mold w/ MMF and marshmellow filling. 10" cake on bottom is strawberry w/ marshmellow filling and iced in cream cheese icing. Tail is MMF and all other accents are from starbursts. I couldn't find a red head doll pick for little mermaid so it doesn't really look like Ariel. First time w/ a mermaid cake, not totally satisfied but it's ok.

Thanks to customcakesbysharon for the idea for this cake. This is only the 4th cake I've ever made. bottom is 10" round rice krispy treat. Top is a wonder mold. I put barbie on top because I didn't feel confident in my skills yet to make her tail. Seaweed, fish, starfish and coral are MMF. Shells are royal icing and purple grass is buttercream. Icing was too soft and wouldn't stand up. I'm definetely still learning.

This is one of my first cakes. Two layer chocolate with BC icing. The basketballs on the side are little scrapbook embellishments. The top BB goal is part of a tabletop BB game. Didn't realize the glass was smudgy either!

6' choc with bc and mmf elmo with bc piped for the fur. I just needed practice and decided to make this for a friend's daughter that just got out of the hospital. I thought the squiggly border would look like crayon scribbles.

I love this cake. I found the picture in a coloring book, cut the sheet cake around the window frame, frosted it in chocolate, and freehanded the design. The flowers and butterfly are chocolate that I piped onto wax paper and transferred. I think this is my favorite cake so far! Isn't she cute?

I made this Little Mermaid cake for my friends daughter. This is a topsy turvey cake with plastic figurines. On the side of the cake is a fondant wave, and on the top for the rocks, is Lemon Meringue candies that are carved and painted (but edible).

This was for my daughter's 2nd birthday party this weekend - she loves fish. I'm still a novice but I had lots of fun doing this - 1st time using luster dust. The sea creatures are all chocolate candies and painted with luster dust. We had real fish under the glass which added a nice effect.

I just finished this cake for my 7 yr. old son's birthday tomorrow. He absolutely loves Cars! Unfortunately this cake gave me some problems. The bottom got really brown and the cake crumbled on the sides when I tried to ice it. Not my best cake to date but my son loves it!

I made this cake with fondant and a little bit of black and red gel icing. The stripes on the tablecloth are painted on red gel and a small paintbrush. Miss Spider's legs are red licorice. The only thing on the cake that isn't edible is the bee and dragonfly wings (wax paper)

Thia is my first paid cake order and only the second cake I've decorated ever. Next time I'd do a few things differently, but I think Dylan will like it. Chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling, buttercream dream icing, candy melts for the spots and spikes.
