Thanks to the CCer's on here for the inspiration on this one. The icing was a pain in the butt because of the weather, but I managed. White cake with BC. Wheels are cookies.

This is a cake made for my 5 yr old nephew. He really likes Bob the Builder so I made the lights look like eyes. I also used John Deere colors. I made the letters with chocolate melts and a letter mold. I made them into mini-lollipops by attaching toothpicks before they set. Each of the kids enjoyed having a letter with their cake!

This was the second request for this cake. I made the wheels from rice krispie treats. MUCH easier than cookies!

I made this for my father-in-law's birthday. (My in-laws live on a farm) Inspired by Boween's great tractor cake. WASC cake, buttercream icing, fondant accent pieces. Next time I'll use a loaf pan instead of carving from a sheet! The back tires are 4" cakes, the front tires I cut from the sheet using a cup as a cutter, and the trailer tires are made of fondant. I'm not sure why the icing looks like it's cracked in the photo. This one was lots of fun to make!

I had some issues with this one...there are parts of the tractor, which is a FBCT, where the green is darker in spots...not happy about that. anyone know why that happens??

Did this for a friend's FIL. I was out of town on his birthday (have done his cakes for 3 years now) so, he asked his DIL if they would wait until I got back so "Miss Beth" could make his cake. THAT made me feel so special! The emblem is a chocolate transfer. The rest is b/c. Thanks for viewing!!

This is another 3d cake which I'm starting to fall inlove with doing! It's mostly done in buttercream with the wheel covers, steering wheel and seat in gumpaste. Wheels are donuts covered in rice crispy treats, covered in MMF.

This was for my son's 3rd birthday; he absolutely loved it! It was my first time using gumpaste (used to make pig and cow). Also my first time making a stacked caked like this. Thanks ChristyB for letting me use your design!

SC State Flag done in Green and Yellow for someone who loves John Deere. The cake was not supposed to be covered in dots, but the icing cracked so this is what I came up with. I made this cake over a year ago and I have learned a lot since then because of CC!!

This John Deere farm scene was complete with a corn field, barn, animals, and of course.....a John Deere tractor. The path for the tractor was decorated with Fruity Pebbles.

I did this up quick last night for my hubby's b-day today. I felt kind of bad that I didn't put more into his cake and everyone else gets a special cake but he still loved it. Free hand work as you can see:)
