My nephews, son, and husband all share birthdays within 5 days of each other so this was the combined birthday cake. This is adapted from Celebrate Express and I just used my son's toys to decorate.

This was done the "old-fashion" cake way of piping stars! I had to do a john deere cake for a father/son and the cutomer doesnt like fondant. Drew the pattern free hand. The pic doesn't show but on the sides I pipped the "yellow deer" symbol. I got the idea from another CCer. Thank you.

Marble cake with buttercream icing and fondant tractor (painted with gel colors). I decided to start sprucing up my cakes in simple ways, and I'm starting with doing more fun borders. I absolutely love how this cake came out!

12x12 yellow cake, 3D John Deere tractor also yellow cake. Indydebi's BC recipe. Design idea came from CherieO (I wanted to try her "corn" but ran out of time and no yellow sprinkles! The tractor is a little more cartoonish than I would have liked, but I'm REALLY proud of how well the square sheet came out! All comments, suggestions & criticisms welcome! TIA! TFL!

This cake was a lot of fun. I made the tractor out of Marshmallows. I cut them on certain sides in order for them to stick together. I ran a few toothpicks threw them and then piped it with icing. I was very happy with the end result and so was my John Deere Tractor fan.

For our very good friend's son's 1st birthday. Her dad gave him a John Deere shirt so that was the inspiration for the cake. She wanted it simple and cute. They loved it and Penn did a great job on his smash cake (not pictured). Marble cake w/cookies-n-cream filling, BC icing, MMF decorations. TFL

Though he was sharing the party with to older boys so it is not all baby, I found this cool border so I made it into an edible image for the bottom, the animals are fondant and the tractor is RKT in fondant. It is not quite what i was going for but they loved it, that is what matters. TFL

I'm new to cake decorating and don't know all the best practices. I need to invest in classes. However, this cake is all butter cream covered, with airbrushed grass. Crushed oreos for the "dirt" in the landscarpe bed. Crushed graham crackers for garden.

I was told that this man is really proud of his new lawnmower, so his wife wanted a figure of him riding it. I did my best, and I think he came out cute. Thanks for looking!
