I made this for FIL's 81'st birthday! I really had fun making the haybales, LOL! But this picture clearly shows why I do NOT write on cakes unless it was stenciled, LOL!

I used the tractor cake pan to create the tractor in this cake. I also used the pan to create the chocolate wheels, cab and engine area by melting chocolate wafers and pouring into the pan letting it chill and set then popping them out and placing on the cake and then using buttercream frosting to decorate around them to blend it into the cake. The Straw wagon was made using a 9X13 sheet cake and cupcakes for the wheels.

Thanks to Amy729 for your fabulous example of a tractor cake! I had a lot of fun on this one and was so sad when I realized that I had forgotton to put on my RI steering wheel (I had made it in a lily nail so it was really cool! :( !! ) It is a 2-layer 9x13 chocolate with chocolate BC and a carved tractor out of white cake. Toba's fondant and BC Dream.

This was my first 3D/sculpture cake. I made it for my grandson's 1st birthday. I didn't put the tractor on a separator board, so by morning it was sinking into the base cake.
