I made 2 of these for my brothers party, they were my 2nd amd 3rd cake. Didnt turn out quite the way I wanted but all the party goers loved it! Chocolate Fudgey BC with fondant accents!

This was a grooms cake that I did. Carved duck out of cake, and sat it on a sheet cake. All done in buttercream except for the beak and the cattails were fondant.

10 inch round chocolate fudge cake torted with raspberry filling. All buttercream icing. Camo done on top and sides with image transfer on the deer. I love this cake!!!

This was the groom's cake for my friend's wedding. The groom wanted whipped icing so I air-brushed the cake and put a deco pac on it. I am new at doing cakes so I didn't realize that it would look so sparse or I would have ordered 2 deco pacs and at least used the trees and deer out of it as well. But THANKFULLY they loved it! The cake is 2, 9X13 chocolate cakes with Wilton whipped icing. TFL!!

This is a groom's cake for a camo themed wedding. This cake was iced in buttercream with an edible image of the camo and a gun scope pattern piped in buttercream on top.

this was my first actual carved cake. i did about 9 months ago, but i am just now posting it. i thought i lost the file to it. this was for a groom who loved to hunt. i got some directions form a CCer here and i can't remeber who it was, so i can give credit to them. but of course it doesn't look as good as the original, but i tried. i wasn't very happy with my facial features. thanks for lookin

This is an 8" cinnamon swirl cake with cream cheese frosting. I got some inspiration from jenncowin for the faux chocolate plaque. Its a piece of fondant dried, drew on a deer with colored pencil, carved it out with a sharp tool, then brushed cocoa over it to fill in the plaque. Very easy to do. Then I piped all the different colors on separately and smoothed them out viva paper towel style! LOL Thanks for looking!

It took the customer a few minutes to convince me that her call wasn't a prank and that the name of the bird she wanted made into a cake was real and not a joke! Carved choc pound cake, vanilla bc, covered in fondant with rice crispie head. Board accents were colored coconut and fondant leaves. TFL!

Made for my brother. He loves hunting whitetail deer. It was a red velvet carved cake. One of my firsts as you can probably tell.

The family found out they were having a third boy, and the mom said "No more baby blue!" The dad is a hunting guide, so the shower hostesses requested something with cammo, alligators, hogs, and hunting dogs. This was my first run at modeling animals out of fondant. So much fun to make!

11x15 frosted in buttercream. Deer head is mmf over rice krispy treats. Leaves and shot gun shells are mmf.

I made this for a friend. She found so many cakes she liked but i only a had a few days notice so I couldn't do them so she told me to do whatever I like as long as it had deer on it. I got the idea from bayousmiles but changed it to add my touch. Thanks for looking.

made for a friends grandson....I was told he is crazy about mater and mcqueen and deer hunting like his dad! the camo was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be....it was really fun to do in fact Im gonna do all my cakes in camo now! super easy haha.. I tried to keep it playful and animated for his age. My client saw LisaMS cake and loved it. Thanks Lisa!! Her boyfriends loves hunting and loves the Yankees so instead of doing a Yankee hat we decided to stay with teh hunting theme and put Yankee hats on the hunter and the deer. You can't see it that well but I put her legs with a pair of red high heels sticking out of the tent and just put water round the base of the board with ducks and fish it in.
