I really love this cake. It looks like a gingerbread house (obviously) but its a Cake!. Its white cake covered in fondant. snowman is made of fondant, snowballs are gobstoppers, tree is upside-down sugar cone with royal icing and decorated with various candies. I Love the Christmas lights around the house. They were Mike & Ikes cut in three parts and the middle discarded

Here is my Gingerbread house for 2006. i have probably made about 3-4 houses. This is by far the largest, it is 30x15x15. I had some humidity problems with the roof (I ended up taking them off and supporting the gbread with foam core). And the jolly rancher windows melted. I replaced 2 with gelatin sheets and I think I will use those in the future. Other than the lights and the above mention roof supports it is all edible. It took about a week of working ...probably 25-30 hours

This gingerbread house is made out of royal icing and gingerbread. The decorations are all royal icing except for the walkway and shudders. Those are Big Read Gum. My husband bought really small christmas lights to add to it. I love making gingerbread houses.

This cake looked alot harder to make, in the Wilton book, than it actually was my mom said. She hand painted ever piece of candy. And instead of buying those over priced chocolate warmers she used a heating pad. IT WORKED GREAT! The house is a kit and the tree is the cake riser covered in different colors of brown icing. The kids at the Easter egg hunt loved it.

This is the cake for my niece's 6th birthday party tomorrow. The colors of her puppy party are purple and lime green so that's the colors of the house. The dogs are candles.

Did cupcakes to go along with the cake

This cake was for my friend's daughter. Her birthday is right around Christmas, so she wanted a winter theme. It is a 4 1/2 layer white cake with a board in the middle for easy cutting. I used graham crackers for the roof and tinted coconut along with candy for added decoration. It is frosted with buttercream. Thanks for looking and any feedback :)

My daughter Mikayla had a dolly-n-me tea party. All the kids loved the cake. The shingles were meant to be Necco wafers but those are not sold in Canada so I made them out of royal icing. Buttercream for the rest. nerds to make the flowers!

9x13 chocolate cake, used grass tip. Crushed graham crackers for the drive. MMF animals. Used gel mixed with coloring to get the pond and the mud for the pigs, ran out of brown so had to have black mud. Was not happy with the barn at all. It was so heavy it kept falling back even though it was doweled, so I cut a square in the cake the same size as the bottom of the pan, and stuck the cake into it. That is why the barn looks so short. All in all I was pleased, especially with my animals. It was my 1st. time

This is my first chocolate transfer! It needs lots of work...my piping is so shaky, and I should have chosen a smaller image to copy. We were celebrating our 3rd anniversary of buying our home, so I made a little cake. It's just a 9 in. vanilla cake, torted and filled with raspberry seedless preserves, and house buttercream from the WBH with raspberry preserves added. My first time torting a cake too. It's pretty fun!

I hope to take Wilton I soon, but my family really doesn't like cake! What to do?

This birthday cake is for my husband's boss who loves rat terriers. Devil's food pound cake with dark chocolate chips - yum! I "buried" a bone next to the doghouse and added a bowl of "water" as well. I had to change out the birthday ribbon after I took this picture because the red icing bled through - oops

Decorated by my grand daughter, while visiting for winter break. Kept her busy for about 10 min. (smile) She took it apart, in order to put it in her suit case, so she could share with her family.

Used the Wilton gingerbread haunted house kit to assemble. I didn't eat it - it didn't look to appetizing after all the icing was hard and it was finished.

I made this for my dad, a realtor, to take to work and get me some business. It is done mostly in fondant. The siding and the shrubs are done in buttercream. His business card is attached to a srub in the backyard. he now buys them and gives them to his sales and I make them look like their new houses.

I had so much fun making this cake. It's Wilton's Standup House Cake pan. I pretty much just copied the design on the box. The ghosts are color flow and the pumpkins are the little candy corn pumpkins.

I make these cookies for my brother who is a Realtor. He gives them to his buyers at all of his settlements. I package them in a nice white box with a red/white/blue ribbon (ReMax colors). NFSC with rolled buttercream and RI details.

My sister just bought a house, so for her birthday I made her this cake. This is my first time make a carved cake, so I am really happy with the results. The funny part is that her house is a "FIX 'ER UP 'ER" so when the cake settled a little it just made it look more like the real thing. The house number is her age,.
