I made this for my best friend's baby shower, and overall am pretty proud of how it all turned out. The design is based on the invitation. A lot of firsts here: first tiered cake, first chocolate wrap, first sugar cookies (and by extension, first cookie bouquet). So there were a LOT of learning experiences and opportunities for improvement!

my leopard print cake this time in hotpink and gold detail, 10" and 7" rounds covered in yellow fondant and habd painted with powdered food colour mixed with alcohol, bow and stars are gumpaste (gold was hand painted on with powdere gold leaf and alcohol) thanks for looking

This was a Bat Mitzvah cake made for a girl whose theme was Sweet Celebrations. The fondant was colored to match her invitation.

This was for my daughters 13th birthday, I got the original design from a CCer and my daughter chose the colors. Fun cake to do, the circles are all chocolate.

Well...this is the second 1/2 of my first attempt (I did two TT's in one week...so they were a tie for first). This one is covered with MMF. So, I used White Chocolate Fondant and MMF this week. I like the taste of WC...but I prefer to work with MMF...although it was kind of hard. I got my inspiration for this cake from the many zebra pics I found in the galleries...thanks everyone!!

This was a last minute order that I took this weekend. Strawberry cake with buttercream icing with fondant overlay. Hot pink and black with dots were the birthday girl's request. TFL

I just love these colours! Design based on a photo provided by the customer. Bottom layer is chocolate mudcake with vanilla filling, top is buttercake with mixed berry filling, all MMF decorations. TFL :)

This was my first three tier cake. Top is white with cannoli, middle is yellow with Baileys chocolate cream, and third is chocolate with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Stars and numbers are gumpaste and the rest in fondant.

This is my DD 16th B-day cake. She loves the T-shirts that say that "Girls Make Better Ninja's", so she wanted to go with that theme. She is so not a girlie girl, but the only Sweet 16 party stuff we found was hot pink and black, so she went with it. The topper was made by her even though the starburst doesn't really match the rest of the cake. All decorations are buttercream and then the cake was sprayed with luster dust and sprinkled with Disco Dust to match the candles a bit better.

Chocolate cake iced in chocolate buttercream. Flowers, ribbons and bows are fondant. Flower centers are silver dragees.

All fondant w/royal icing, rhinestones & some painted details. It's also got fake jewels (from Michael's craft store) on it, and the topper is a $1 frame that I put some printed paper in. When I delivered the cake the sun was so bright that my pics didn't turn out, but the customer emailed this one to me later w/rave reviews. TFL!

Colors didn't translate well in the pic but it is actually hot pink. 8 and 5 inch all fondant icing and fondant bow. Thanks for looking!

Hot Pink with black & silver accents. Not an elaborate cake, but a fun bling bling wedding cake on Valentine's Day. So stressed, I left my digital at home and had to use my cell phone camera. The colors don't show up as well, but it you can get an idea how fun it was. They loved it!!

This the3rd of a series of 3 cakes i will be auctioning off over the next 3 days for my sons ex1st grade teachers daughter who was born with a brain tumor which has progress and they have to go to st. judes everywk for chemo for the next 18 mths. I cannot do much but I can do CAKES .

This one was fun to work on,,,but very hard to deliver. They had me set up at the same time they called an extra practice for the dance. Lots of teenagers and lots of eyes!
