WASC cake covered in BC. Pearl necklace and earrings are BC with lustre dust. Shoe is rice krispy treats covered in fondant with silver dragee accents. It was my first shoe ever, so its a little rough, if anyone knows good ways to cover this shape in fondant, please let me know!

For a 7 yr old's bday. Her mom wanted it to resemble a Lillie Pulitzer purse. I got the colors and pattern close enough. I had to come up with shoes to match. It's a good thing I do cakes and not shoes!!! The cake is a 1/4 sheet, cut in thirds and then stacked. It's covered with MMF and a pink boa. The shoes are gumpaste/fondant using socake's template.

Customer gave me a tiny photo of a "high heel shoe" cake, said she hated the stripes on it but wanted something similar. Said she liked two tone pink and possibly a bow. Ok so not a whole lot to go on and this is what I came up with. Both the customer and birthday girl loved it, Yeah! Comments Welcomed.

This is my version of Lisa Strauss's shoe box cake. The lady wanted the paper red though. I tried to talk her into a different shoe design, but she insisted on the zebra print. I didn't want to look like I copied Lisa's exact design. It was a fun cake to make.

Humidity is NOT our friend! Man what a nightmare time I had with the lid and tissue paper in the insane humidity yesterday. Finally pulled it all together at the last minute, litteraly! Fondant/gumpaste/pastillage shoe. I really wanted to keep this shoe instead of letting it go to the customer! TFL!

For a 2-year-old's birthday. They asked for a Cinderella cake but didn't want to just slap Cinderella's face on a cake. It's my first gumpaste shoe! First "pillow" cake... Made it look more like a "footstool" but it's all buttercream. Dusted with some luster dust. Thanks for looking!
