Last minute Purse. I do think the zipper turned out well and I liked the stripes painted rather than fondant stripes laid on. I was not satisfied with the strap. TFL! The shoe was 50/50 fondant gunpaste. It took a lot longer to dry but it handled better than plain ol gumpaste.

Red velvet cake with pink vanilla BC. This was a cake for three Burlesque dancers who were all celebrating birthdays. I wanted to make it fun. The names on the lips are their stage names. All the details/shoes are fondant. The black shoe was supposed to be standing up as well, but it broke, so I had to improvise :) Thanks for looking!

My first gumpaste shoes. I did more of a chunky heel because the cake is going to be for a 15 year-old girl. I wrote PRADA on the inside of the shoe with a food coloring marker.

Fun class I took at a local cake shop. We learned how to make a box with panels and stripped tissue paper. The shoes were formed on a high heel cake server made by Wild Eye Designs. The cake server was an easy form and fund to use. I love kitchen gadgets.

BC icing with fondont zebra stripes for purse. Gumpaste pearls with luster dust. Fondont pink initial ring with monogramed letter & Gumpaste high heel shoe with luster dust. This cake was so much fun and the birthday girl cried when it was time to cut the cake & eat it at her party =0(. Thanks CC for all the ideas & tutorials!!

From Wilton Course 1 - class 2 I think? Strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Pattern transfer with piping gel.

THis is done in buttercream with fondant/gumpaste accents. I made a shoe and a strand of fondant pearls along with purple ribbon with circle monograms. Then I attached fondant circles to wire with candy melts for the topper.

Here is my sister in-law's 40th birthday present! The shoe is made of fondant the painted silver with lustre dust, the shoe box lid is also fondant with (cmc powder) The cake is chocolate mud, I had fun making this one and she loved it which was the main aim!!

Birthday cake for a friend. Her husband ordered the cake after one of her high heels broke. Shoe and tissue paper made from gumpaste. Cake iced with buttercream with fondant circles.

This is a cake that I made for my sister-in-law. The box is 3 layers 9x13 carved down to 6 1/2 x 12 chocolate fudge cake with chocloate and banana filling. The purse is an 8 inch round. Shoe is gumpaste ,roses are gumpaste,purse handle is gumpaste dried over the side of a coffee can and shoebox lable is an edible frosting sheet. My sister-in-law and her friends loved it. The client requested a combination of "Sex and the City" with Tea Party for her little girl's birthday. Colour scheme was pink, fushia and coral. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out! She loved the shoe!!

This is a Baby Phat Purse cake and shopping bag cake with a gumpaste high heel shoe. The purse is made with pound cake and butter cream icing and covered in fondant. The shopping bag is pound cake, butter cream icing, and vanilla pudding filling. It is also covered in fondant. I made the tissue paper from fondant also. It was for my friend's birthday, she loves Baby Phat.

This cake is Macsmom's wonderful Tuxedo cake flavor (layered white and vanilla cake with white and milk chocolate truffle filling). It was a surprise from mother to daughter. Daughter was getting her "first" Coach purse for her 20th birthday. Mom said daughter loved Soccer, played for UT (hook em) collected Eiffel Towers and had TONS of 3 inch shoes. LOL.. so I tried to incorporate each of those loves into her birthday cake and keep it classy. The tower is painted on with Super Luster and vodka mix. And the flowers are gumpaste. The picture quality isn;t that great...sorry. Thank you for looking (TFL) Thanks inspireddecorator for the tip on the potato stencil for the logo:)

I had fun with this cake, and was shocked at how easy it was. I enjoyed the challenge of the high heel, so if anyone has a pattern for one, or a better way to make one, please let me know. The high heel was a HUGE struggle, but it worked out great! What do you all think?

For the girliest of little girls, a make-up themed cake. It ws chocolate filled with oreo mousse and covered in chocolate BC then fondant. The high heel, compact, eye shadow, lipstick, polish, and "5" were all gumpaste. The tiarra was of RI and my first. She loved the added bling of the beads and boa!

This was for one of my customer's best friends. This is the first time I attemped a purse, or true to life shoe. The purse is chocolate cake with genache filling, covered in fondant then airbrushed, and I painted all the C's on it from a sencil I made. The shoe I did freehand from a mixture of 50% fondant and 50% gumpaste. Did it white then airbrushed the colors,and pained the details. The tiffany bag is rice crispie treats, then covered in fondant with gumpaste tissue. Gumpaste lilly. Fun to make, I would have rather it been on a fondant covered base cake, but they LOVE my icing, and wanted icing, and for it to be plain not to take away from the "important stuff" on the cake! I love how this turned out!

this was my first gumpaste shoe. I guess it turned out okay. I had some trouble with this purse at first but it finally got a little better.. Buttercream icing with mmf and gumpaste accents. Thanks for looking.

This cake was made for my best friend's birthday. She is a shoe fanatic and loves the color purple! This was my 1st time making gumpaste shoes, and I think they're really hard! I had some fondant issues, so this isn't how I originally designed the cake. But all in all, I'm please with the final result, and the bday girl LOVED it!

Cake for a stylish 25 year old. The shoe on top as well as the polka dots, and zebra prints were all fondant. Everything else was buttercream.
