This was done as a favor for a neighbor girl that is friends with our family. Everyone loved it and I was pleased with how it turned out. It was a White Almond Sour Cream cake with bavarian chocolate cream filling and buttercream icing. Hello Kitty was an FBCT.

My SIL and I did this for my niece's birthday. It was MMF over white cake. The inspiration came directly from ajbrittain's cake in the gallery, thanks so much for the idea.

All buttercream; and she had to have pink cake so I tinted white cake with a little pink food coloring. :-)

Originally this cake was supposed to be COMPLETELY different than this. I ended up having to take my fiance to the hospital...so when I got home, that left me with an hour to decorate. Luckily I had made the FBCT of Hello Kitty, and the rest was kind of a rush. Marble cake with 1/2 butter 1/2 crisco buttercream. First FBCT I've done and I LOVED how easy it was!!!

Hello Kitty cake for my 3 yr old. Thanks to Kitagrl for her amazing cake that I attempted to copy:)
Took a while but not as hard as I thought. If I do another one I can say I learned alot of things to do different! Kitty ended up with a bump and a "black eye" on the left side- I put the eye in the wrong place, then black food coloring was all over my white fondant! The head is Rice crispies, body, legs and arms all cake. Decorated in IMBC and MMF. Painted with luster and sparkle dust.

This is my version of Kate Sullivan's Kitty cake. Strawberry cake and BC icing. I was surprised that this cake is a lot taller than it looks...about 12" tall.

White with buttercream frosting and fondant accents. Thanks to all of the Hello Kitty cake creators who inspired me. I kind of used a "mish-mash" of different cake ideas I found on here. I luster dusted all of the flowers and used edible glitter on her name in fondant. Also got to use my new "cake jacks", LOVE those things. I wish I could think up inventions like that! Thanks for looking.

Birthday cake for my Step-son's sister. I love Hello Kitty so this was fun to make. White cake with all shortening icing covered with Fondant. The fondant was airbrushed. I was too lazy to add color to it.

I covered the cake with fondant and made a fondant bow. I brushed the bow w/lusterdust. The eyes and nose are jelly beans. The whiskers are candy covered licorice. I screwed up and made the ears not tall enough. Oh well, it was my first time to work with fondant!

white cake with fruit filling. this was a tall cake! 3 layers of cake. 2 layers of filling--1 canned peaches, 1 canned pears. hello kitty is a chocolate transfer. words are chinese. they say happy birthday. birthday girl's favorite color is pink.

First attempt of Hello Kitty. They wanted it coverd in buttercream, dress, bow, ears are mmf. This serves approx. 50 people. Next time I would trim the sides more so she wasn't so fat.

This is a 8" & 6" WASC filled with pinapple and frosted in BC. The colors were done to match the party plates. The kitty's are CT's. (First one's and I love these!!) I want to thank bjfranco for inspiration since her cake was the base of the design!!!! Comments welcome, I want to get better. Second Tiered cake. I even did the spike down the center! That was scary for the first one =)

This is one of two cakes for daughter's 3rd b-day. The head is rkt covered in mmf. It's the only part I hate. The body/dress is wonder moldcovered with mmf. She loves it.

This was my first tier cake ever.... was a little difficult to fondant the small cake but I made it. Cake was all Yellow but filled with, vanilla and strawberry. This was my daughter's 2nd birthday.
