Big thanks to Mypastrychef for allowing to use her cake idea! I hope I did her proud! 4", 6" and 8" x 3" cakes covered in fondant with BC accents. Hello Kitty was purchased. Cake is Triple Chocolate Fudge. This one was fun, I might add some more flowers, not sure. I think I'll sleep on it!

My first attempt at a REAL cake... Rectangular layers 11x13 double tiered white cake - tinted 1/3 each pink & blue, and marble-swirled together. Round part is plain white cakes 4-tiers high with cream cheese in the middle and blue fondant on the top. Frosted with plain white icing, blue & red fondant stars, squiggles, and writing. Hello Kitty was done according to Frozen Butter Cream directions, but done w/plain icing & finished with fondant eyes, nose, bow & border (I'd do that differently next time!)

First cake I have ever decorated in my entire life. I got all my ideas from this website. It had alot of problems. I have signed up for a course, so hopefully I will learn how to correct my mistakes. Buttercream icing, funfetti cake, mmf dots, licorice and jelly beans, and real hairbow clip. Nowhere NEAR as beautiful as the cakes on this website!

The bday girl didn't want to share her cake with anyone, so this is a small purse for her and everyone else got cupcakes. The cake itself is BC. The handles are RI. The Hello Kitty face is MMF. The beads are MMF with shimmer dust.

This is a shameless copy of a very cute cake made by CakeL8T. Thanks so much for the darling idea. I had been searching for a shaped Hello Kitty cake and hers was so cute. I changed the colors to match the mother's request. Strawberry cake with Cream Cheese frosting.

I made this cake out of the 3D Garfield pan and the oval pan for the base. Since this was for my daughter, I made it on my milk glass cake stand. She was so excited. She decided to have a Hello Kitty party this year and I wasn't sure how to do the cake. My dh is the one who brought up my Garfield pan. I am glad he is so creative! I would have just done a buttercream transfer. Erin was happier with this.

Made a two tier for daughters 2nd birthday. My second cake. Two tiers, each with 3 layers of cake. Fondant covered, fondant bow, stripes and polka dots. Chocolate flowers. I used just boxed Pillsbury cake, which tasted great.. but horrible to work with. Everything else was easy to work with, all though i wish I could have gotten the colored fondant thinner... a little more difficult to thin out.

Stacked 9" and 6" with IMBC icing and MMF accents. Topper is carved out of a loaf cake and covered and decorated with MMF. My little girl just loved her birthday cake. The best part was watching her eat Hello Kitty's head!

These are 4" strawberry cakes with buttercream frosting and MMF Hello Kitty cutouts. I did them for a customer who was having a party for her little girl at a location that didn't allow cakes -- I boxed these up individually and tied with ribbons and tags for the guests to take home.

When you are a little girl and have your birthday celebration in st valentine's week there must be lots of pink, red and harts in your Hello Kitty cake.
Kitty is made of fondant as are the bows.

All was well until I go to her eye!!!! OMG... So don't judge on the lopsided eye. Samantha (my boss's niece) loved the cake.... But she is 6 and didn't notice the eye. All she knew was Hello Kitty is her favorite. I really liked making this cake, which is a piping gel transfer of a pic I found on the internet.
