2 layer-8 inch cakes. The women in her office call her a Diva, so this is what I came up with. It was the first time for making a high heel shoe...not to sure about it. I felt like it could have broken at any moment. But trial and error, that is the only way I will learn. Thanks for looking.

This is my very first high heel shoe and purse! The purse a bit of work, no mold just free hand but the bottom cake I made with layer of strips and that gave me a headache! Overall...I am really happy...after all it was for my own birthday! And off course...I like black and white! :)

My first high heel. I also didn't have time for it to completely dry, so I hope it makes it to the party. It was made out of fondant, following the steps listed on here! BTW, Thank you! White cake, all shortening icing.

For my cousin's 18th birthday. Her mom said she wanted it to be pink and brown, with polka dots and a high heel shoe. We never really talked about fondant and usually she orders buttercream. So the cake is iced in buttercream with fondant stripes and fondant draped over the top.Buttercream bottom ribbon border. My VERY FIRST high heel. I am used to being able to hide my mistakes but those heels are not very forgiving!

Thanks nati for your tutorial for shoes and purses! Couldn't have done it without you! First shoe and shoe box, second purse. I got to use my airbrush on this but need more practice. Had a last minute request to add balloons on it (?) anyways I then made the topper. Hope that she likes it!

WASC cake covered in BC. Pearl necklace and earrings are BC with lustre dust. Shoe is rice krispy treats covered in fondant with silver dragee accents. It was my first shoe ever, so its a little rough, if anyone knows good ways to cover this shape in fondant, please let me know!

For a 7 yr old's bday. Her mom wanted it to resemble a Lillie Pulitzer purse. I got the colors and pattern close enough. I had to come up with shoes to match. It's a good thing I do cakes and not shoes!!! The cake is a 1/4 sheet, cut in thirds and then stacked. It's covered with MMF and a pink boa. The shoes are gumpaste/fondant using socake's template.

Customer gave me a tiny photo of a "high heel shoe" cake, said she hated the stripes on it but wanted something similar. Said she liked two tone pink and possibly a bow. Ok so not a whole lot to go on and this is what I came up with. Both the customer and birthday girl loved it, Yeah! Comments Welcomed.

This is my version of Lisa Strauss's shoe box cake. The lady wanted the paper red though. I tried to talk her into a different shoe design, but she insisted on the zebra print. I didn't want to look like I copied Lisa's exact design. It was a fun cake to make.

The final package, I wanted something that resembled shoes boxes. Photo storage boxes and material from Michael's. Inside I used leopard or zebra tissue paper with shred. The gift cards have the shoes to match. NFSC w/Antonia74's RI. Thanks for looking. :)
